I bobbed my head multiple times. “Yes.”
With a fingertip, he traced a line down my ribcage, and I almost came at the intensity of the shivers working through me. My body combusted under the dedicated attention. He drew featherlight circles with his fingers over my back, my ass, my thighs.
A surge of desire I’d never felt before started in my core and spread to my belly, pooling between my thighs.
Soon, if Mason didn’t stop, I’d turn into a puddle on the floor right before his eyes.
His delicate touch sent my heart into overdrive. I panted even though I hadn’t moved yet.
“How does it feel?” he asked, his lips teasing mine, his kisses taking my breath away.
“Better than anything we ever did.” I swallowed, deciding I would take control of the situation and not shut the voices in my head pleading for more. Much more. “Mase, I want you now.” Why did I sound out of breath?
“Are you sure?”
I had never been fully naked in front of anyone before, but now it felt right to share that piece of me with the boy I loved. Biting my lower lip, I nodded. “Yeah.” I gripped his biceps, requiring his strength to stay upright as too many sensations washed through me, making me feel lightheaded and weak in the knees.
“As I said. Anything your heart desires, love, I’ll always provide.”
Without another word, he scooped me up over his shoulders, our discarded clothes forgotten, and rushed us upstairs to his bedroom, climbing the steps two at a time. I couldn’t stop laughing as he laid me on my back in the middle of the mattress, watching me like he was starving.
He positioned himself between my legs, and with a tenderness that made my insides melt, he kissed his way along my throat, between my breasts, and down to my belly. My body shook, and I lost control of everything—my breath and my thoughts included—relishing every bit of attention the boy hovering over me provided with his mouth. I arched my back, not sure how to ride all the new sensations awakening inside me. Mason moved until our mouths collided in a bruising kiss. I needed to hold on to something. I dug my fingernails into his scalp. His tongue battled mine. I was combusting from the inside, and all we’d done so far was kissing.
He leaned back, staring into my eyes, into my soul. “Tell me if you want me to stop.”
I watched him, my brain taking its sweet time to register his words. “Stop? No. Don’t. Why? I’d be very angry if you did.”
He returned his mouth to mine, stealing my breath away, locking his hands around my waist as he deepened the kiss. Goose bumps spread across my bare skin.
He traced a finger down my body, under the waistband of my underwear, until it reached the most intimate part of me.
A million foreign sparks ignited within me, and I felt warm everywhere.
Mason moved his finger back and forth in the slowest motion, making my toes curl. “Fuck, you’re hot.”
I rolled my hips, pressing into him and arching off the mattress, trying to increase the friction.
“Ready for more?”
I nodded, unable to speak, teeth pressing into my bottom lip as I tried to anchor myself in the moment.
He kissed me one more time before kneeling back between my legs and moving his mouth lower—much much lower. I watched him, realizing what he was about to do.
Some part of me wondered if I was ready for what it meant, but my excitement at finally surrendering all my control to him—and my curiosity—won. With every gentle caress from him, the world around me disappeared a little more.
With delicate precision, he hooked his thumbs into the sides of my underwear and slid them down my legs. A shiver ran through my body, and I used my hands to cover myself, feeling exposed. “What if you don’t like what you see?” I was surprised I could say out loud what was on my mind.
He combed my hair back with his fingers. “Mel, I would find you beautiful, no matter what. Sure, I love the way you look, but I also don’t care about it. Do you understand? I love what’s in here”—he rested his hand over my heart—“and I love what’s in here”—he touched the side of my head—“much more. They are your essence. Our connection isn’t just physical. It’s also emotional and spiritual, and it will always be bigger than us. Whether it’s in this life or the next, we’re meant to be. So please, don’t ever hide from me. I see all of you, Mel. I always do. Nothing will ever make me run for the hills. I’m here to stay.”
Moisture blurred my vision. “Why are you saying this?”
“Because I’m yours. Let me cherish you and show you just how bad I have it for you. I promise I’ll be gentle.”
“I trust you, and I wanna be all yours too.” I removed my hands from my body, letting him see all of me for the very first time.
The way he looked at me, like I was the most beautiful thing he’d ever seen, flooded me with warmth, and I trembled with anticipation. Mason pressed kisses all over the sensitive flesh of my inner thigh. I gasped. The roughness of his jaw created a delicious friction. I was floating, powerless to control my own body—not that I wanted to, anyway. I much preferred Mason being in charge right now.
His tongue worked its magic around my most private parts, shredding me to pieces. I could barely think anymore. My body levitated from the bed. A storm of fireworks exploded within me.
