The floorboards creaked a “good morning” as I made my way to the back stairs and tiptoed down to the kitchen. I had barely descended halfway down when the smell of coffee tickled my nose. The sound of something sizzling whispered up the stairwell and I hurried the rest of the way down to the kitchen, pleased that my suspicions on where Peter had disappeared to were correct.
Upon entering the kitchen, I found Peter was across the room, standing at the stove, his back to me. At that moment, I discovered there was a second Enzo living inside of my brain. A brave, amorous, wicked Enzo. That Enzo grinned mischievously and tiptoed across the kitchen like a bandit and snuck up behind Peter. When I wrapped my arms around him, he jumped in surprise. When my mouth found his neck, laying a passionate kiss upon it, he laughed warmly.
“Good morning,” he said as he turned in my arms, a spatula in his hand.
“Good morning,” I replied, sighing happily as I held him.
Peter cocked his head to the side.
“Step back,” he said, his brow furrowed.
Frowning with confusion and worry of rejection, I let my arms fall from around him and stepped back. Peter’s eyes scanned my body, from the top of my head to my feet. When he looked back up at me, an impish grin was plastered on his face.
“That’s a sight I could wake up to every morning,” he said.
Instinctively, I wanted to be embarrassed. I’d never so brazenly been so close to nude in front of another person—at least, not in a way that was intended to be seductive. I found that, though my instincts told me one thing, that Other Enzo told those instincts to shut up.
“I will make sure you have this sight every morning I am here, then,” I said.
“Don’t,” Peter said, pointing the spatula at me in playful reproach. “I’m trying to make breakfast for you. I wanted to be sweet and romantic. I can’t be distracted.”
“I am terribly sorry,” I said, though we both knew I didn’t mean a word of it.
Peter rolled his eyes and turned back to the stove, poking at whatever was in the pan on the stove with the spatula.
Insanity.
I found that it couldn’t be shaken so easily after the night we’d had together.
Stepping up behind Peter, my mouth returned to his neck and I pressed myself into him, my groin grinding into his backside. Despite his best efforts, Peter moaned and tilted his head to give me better access to the flesh at his neck. I kissed and sucked gently at his skin as my arms wrapped around him to travel down his body and find the most sensitive part of him.
“Enzo,” he said, trying to sound annoyed at my distracting actions.
“Oui? Yes?” I mumbled against his neck.
“Nothing,” he groaned. “Fuck it.”
Peter spun and his arms wrapped around me. He pressed himself along the length of me as our mouths found each other, feeding hungrily. Somehow, I managed to reach behind Peter, my hand grasping for the handle of the pan, and I pushed it from the burner. Metallic clatter filled the kitchen and we chuckled against each other’s mouths. A bit more groping and I found the knob to turn the burner off. Peter’s mouth was on my neck and one of his hands had slipped down between us to slide into my underwear.
Groaning animalistically, I fed at his mouth, my hands holding his face as he stroked me.
Who was the person standing in Peter’s kitchen, so uninhibitedly letting another person touch the most intimate parts of him?
“Damn you,” Peter whispered against my mouth when I moved to kiss him.
“Damn you,” I repeated.
“I’ll have to start breakfast over.” Peter somehow groaned around my tongue as he stroked me desperately.
“Go upstairs with me,” I said. “And I will remake the breakfast. Please?”
“Well,” Peter pulled back just enough to look me in the eyes, “since you said ‘please.’”
“You’re a pervert,” Peter said. “The things you just did…”
He was straddling my lap as I laid proudly on the bed, far back enough on my thighs that his now flaccid penis laid lazily next to mine. My fingers were trailing along the hairs on his tummy, tickling at the red hairs that the sunlight caught and turned to waves of wildfire upon his flesh.
“Tell me you did not enjoy it.” I sighed happily.
