ZOMBIE
“You can’t—” Lucy presses her lips together and stares at me incredulously.
“Shit,” I grumble. “That’s not what I meant.” Her brows shoot up, and it’s all I can do not to laugh. “I mean, I can’t answer the second question. I can’t tell you about club business.”
“Then I can’t help you.”
Start acting like the goddamn VP of a one-percenter MC and not a pussy who can’t get his head out of his ass.
Get your shit together.
Lyric and Whiz’s words infiltrate my thoughts, forcing me to remember that I’m a biker first and a horny creeper second.
I prowl closer to Lucy, balling my hands into fists at my sides. “That’s not gonna work, babydoll. One way or another, you will help me and my club. I’d prefer you do it willingly.” I shrug. “But if I have to force the issue, I can.”
Fear enters her bright green eyes, and regret slams into me. I don’t want to scare her, but she’s leaving me no choice.
“Get out,” she says, her voice laced with steel. “Get out before I call the cops.”
Aw, hell. Why’d she have to go there?
Like lightning, I reach out and wrap my hand around her throat. The move is meant to be threatening, but her pulse leaps at the contact, and my cock twitches. I arch a brow, and she unsuccessfully tries to look away.
“Cops can’t save you, Lucy,” I snarl. “Not from my club.” I increase the pressure of my grip, and her breath hitches. “And certainly not from me.”
“I…” Her throat works beneath my hand. “What do you want from me?”
I lower my gaze to her chest. Her robe has loosened since I arrived, and the material’s dropped enough that I can almost see her nipples. With my free hand, I drag a finger down her sternum, between her tits, and then to trace a circle around one taut bud, eliciting a moan from her perfect lips.
Leaning forward, I press my mouth to her ear. “Everything. I want fucking everything from you.”
I release her and take a step back as quickly as I started the entire exchange. Lucy sags against the door, her hand going to her neck as if desperate to feel that sensation again.
“Now,” I begin, taking another step back so I don’t give into the temptation that is her. “Why don’t we discuss what I need from you? Once we get that shit out of the way, we can move on to what we both want.”
Just as she opens her mouth to speak, there’s a knock on the door, causing her to practically jump out of her skin.
“Zombie, let me in.”
“Who’s that?” she demands.
Heaving a sigh, I nudge her out of the way and open the door. “Whiz, I told you to stay outside.”
“I am outside,” he counters, peering past me, no doubt to get a glimpse of Lucy.
My efforts to block his view are unsuccessful when she steps around me. “Whiz, is it?” she asks.
He grins, his gaze lowering. “Yes, ma’am.”
Grabbing him by his cut, I pull him inside and slam him against the wall. “Look at her like that again, and I’ll make your fear of Lyric cutting off your balls feel like a dream come true.”
His grin only widens. “That’s how it’s gonna be?”
“That’s how it is,” I snarl.
“Fine. Then can you please tell her to put something on that covers her up a little better?”
