“What about me?”

There was a long exhale before asking, “Your dick. Are you hard?”

“You have no idea, Bonita.”

“Are you stroking it?”

“I am. I have my fist wrapped around my cock, squeezing as I stroke it. Wishing it was your mouth.”

“I wanna see.”

Granting her wish, Dash flipped the camera on his phone, showing off his raging hard-on. Continuing to stroke, he swiped at the bead of pre-cum, spreading it over the tip with his thumb. Talia whimpered, biting her bottom lip. Fuck, Dash wished he were there, nibbling on that lip. Everything about her was so fucking sexy. Picking up the pace, he tightened his grip on this shaft, stroking harder and harder. The sound of their heavy breathing filled the air, the perfect soundtrack. Almost as perfect as she was.

“You like that? The feel of those fingers in your pussy, filling you up?”

“Yesssssss…”

“When I get back to Atlanta, the first thing I want to do is taste you again, Talia. You taste like heaven, and I never want to forget the flavor of you on my tongue.” The sound Talia let out was indiscernible, letting Dash know he was doing something right. “And then, I am going to fuck you. Hard and fast, soft and slow, however you want it, Talia. I am going to make you come so hard on my dick that you don’t remember your name.”

“Dash…I’m so close…”

“Come for me, baby,” he instructed. His own orgasm was coming on fast, and he knew watching her fall apart would be what pushed him over the edge.

Right on command, Talia cried out, her eyes slamming shut, face contorting. It was easily the most beautiful thing Dash had ever seen. His heart squeezed at the sight, loving that it was him that did this to her. Loving that it was her that was making his own climax surge within him. There was an intimacy between them that he’d never shared with anyone else before. One that he never wanted to share with anyone but her.

A few more furious strokes and his own release hit him like a freight train. The sound he let out was harsh, animalistic, but there was no holding back. It was just what she did to him. He wondered if she loved his O face as much as he loved hers. Making a mental note to ask her, he let the aftershocks course through his body, enjoying the simple sounds of Talia trying to catch her breath.

Silence surrounded them for a moment, but only a brief one. He still wanted to talk to her, to hear her voice and all about her evening. Rolling over and propping his phone up on the spare pillow in the bed, he beamed at her.

“So, tell me all about this bachelor party.”

CHAPTER TWENTY

Somehow, it was Thursday. How, Dash wasn’t quite sure.

Talia had regaled him with a very detailed account of the bachelor party that had taken place in the bar Saturday night. Her beautiful laugh had been woven into every part of the story, only serving to make him hard all over again. He loved listening to her laugh. It was bubbly and infectious, filling his entire hotel room through his phone speaker. They’d talked for hours, the time flying by so fast he’d completely lost track, only realizing just how late it had gotten when Liam walked into the room and he’d had to scramble to get dressed.

Had they not been interrupted, Dash wasn’t sure they ever would have hung up, leaving Talia dead on her feet the next day. Either that, or she would have fallen asleep on him, which would have left him feeling just as guilty.

Since then, the rest of the week had been a blur. Talia had started classes on Monday, shrinking their already limited amount of time together. On top of that, the Unified season would be coming to an end soon as well, shrinking that window even more. For as much as he hated it though, he was even more proud of her, for knowing what her priorities were, for working so hard at her goals, and for how she managed to juggle it all. It was a feat Dash knew that he could never accomplish.

Standing in the middle of the practice pitch, the Unified team swarming around him, Dash still couldn’t take his eyes off Talia. Her simple black running shorts and the Rising electric-blue tee were the same ones she always wore to practice, yet every time, they rendered him speechless. She’d had his attention ever since that first moment she’d walked into the meeting room on their very first day as a team. But now? Now she also had his heart.

“D-aaaas!” Tanner called, pulling his attention away from Talia and back to the scrimmage happening around him.

Tanner stood to his left, ball at his feet, ready for direction from Dash. Having lost track of how this game was going, Dash wasn’t quite sure what to tell him. Then again, this was football, so heading toward the goal was never the wrong answer. With a slight nod toward Liam at the other end of the pitch, Dash started to move. Tanner followed his lead, dodging out of the way of Jono who was charging him faster than Dash had ever seen the kid move. The young man had been a strong player to start with, but watching his confidence rise these past few weeks had been incredible.

“That is it, Tanner, keep your focus on the goal,” Dash instructed, Tanner picking up the pace. “Emily is open. So, just like we practiced.”

A smooth kick from Tanner sent the ball skittering across the grass, directly at Emily. Dash muttered a silent prayer, hope rising within him. Emily was great once she had the ball—but getting her to accept the ball when it was kicked to her had been a challenge. One that he had spent hours on with her. It was time well spent though, as he was confident she was starting to feel more at ease with the flow of the game. Proving him correct, Emily stopped the ball, a smile taking over her face.

“Yes, Emily!” Talia cheered from behind him. “Go, go, go!”

“Vamos!” Dash echoed. He doubted that Emily spoke Spanish, but that was what he would have yelled during one of his games. These kids thrived on being treated just like the first team, something the Rising organization valued, so he hollered at them the same way he would have with any of his other teammates.

A few moves later, Emily was in front of the goal, looking unsure about what to do. It was as if time stood still, everything coming to a halt around Dash as he waited for her to move. She could do this, Dash knew it. She just needed to believe in herself. Not for the first time, he was surprised at just how invested he was at this moment. When he’d asked to fulfill his community service hours with this team, his motivation had been getting close to Talia, as a way to show her who he really was. Instead, these kids had changed him.

He'd become attached to each one of them, deeply caring about not only their game on the pitch, but their lives off it. He loved listening to all their stories and being the person they showed something off to. He hadn’t expected to feel all these emotions when it came to these players. Wasn’t expecting to consider them his and to be ready to defend them if anyone tried to hurt them. And just like that day in the ice cream shop, he would defend them without thinking.
