I sat there worrying and getting more anxious with each passing minute. By the time we landed I had bit my lip so hard it was bleeding. The men stood, starting to get ready to disembark.

Another perk of flying private, you didn't have to wait so long to unload the plane.

“Quinn?” Asher asked from his seat beside me.

“Why did I come?” I turned to look at him for the first time since we took off.

“Because he needs you,” Asher answered, like it was so simple.

I was already shaking my head. “He has all of you.”

“But he needs you, Q,” Will emphasized.

“What if he doesn’t want me here?”

“You don’t have to worry about that.” Noah waved off my concern from where he was standing.

“What’s the plan?” Oli asked, trying to stop me from overthinking.

“I need to buy a dress,” I said as I stood up. I still wasn’t sure if I should be here, but I at least had to get off the plane.

“Knight wanted to get out of the estate.” My eyes bugged out as I looked at Asher. “We’ll meet him at a bar near our hotel. He’ll head back to the estate tonight and we’ll drive out tomorrow for the service.”

I let out a breath. If I knew what bar they were going to then I would be able to avoid him.

At least for tonight.

“He doesn’t want us out there tonight,” Noah assured me.

“You can get a dress while we’re out,” Asher said as we started down the stairs.

“You could come with us,” Jaxson offered as I glared at his absurd comment. I didn’t bother responding as we split up and climbed into the two waiting SUVs on the tarmac.

Before I knew it, we were pulling up outside The Plaza Hotel. A man pulled the door of the car open for me and offered me his hand so I could step out. I looked up at the large white hotel as our stuff was grabbed out of the trunks by staff.

“I should have made you tell me where we were staying,” I muttered as I looked up.

“Why? So you could try and convince us not to put you up here?” Noah asked, coming to stand beside me.

“Don’t waste your time arguing with us,” Oli added. “We already had a block of rooms booked. It would actually cost us money if you turned it down.” He smirked as I tried to figure out if he was telling the truth or not.

They all knew I wouldn’t like them spending so much on me, that I could’ve booked a room myself or found somewhere else to stay. But I wasn’t about to do it if it meant it would cost them. As we stepped inside, someone moved forward, as if they had been waiting for us.

“Mr. Lawson.” The man headed for Asher who stepped out from beside me. “We have your rooms all set up and your luggage will be brought right up.”

“Thank you,” he said with a nod.

“Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable. We’re happy to have Knight Enterprises staying with us,” the man sputtered enthusiastically. “I’ll show you up.”

We rode up to the twentieth floor of the hotel and again I was shocked by the wealth these men were used to. We were being shown around one of the best five-star hotels and the man seemed nervous about it. We had six rooms side by side, somehow I end up in the middle with Asher and Noah on either side of me.

My room had a large king bed with white bedding, grey floor to ceiling curtains on the windows on either side of the bed, and a few steps at the back of the room lead to a terrace with enough room for a small table and chair, with a great view of New York.

“Will these do, sir?” the man with the hotel asked Asher who came with me to my room.

“Yes.” They nodded at each other and then the man slipped out. “Don’t bother saying it’s too much.”

He was right, I was going to say that.
