I bit my lip, not daring to interrupt his plotting.

“I’m going to turn your ass pink with this.” He slid his palm over my rear. “And when it’s as red as your cheeks are right now, I’m going to fuck you until you beg me to come. But Lola…”

I couldn’t breathe. I didn’t want to—not until he finished that sentence.

“That’s only the beginning of what I’m going to do to you.” He lifted my chin with his index finger, propping it up so I was looking him in the eyes. “I’m going to tie you up and fuck you with my mouth until you beg me for my cock.”

My tongue darted over my dry lips.

“Is that okay with you, boss?”

“Yes,” I whispered.

“Yes?” He lifted an eyebrow.

“Yes, Your Highness.”

“That’s a good girl.” He kissed me. “Are you ready to go home and play by my rules?”

I almost came on the spot. Instead, I nodded.

“Good, because the car is here.”

I almost jumped out of my skin when I looked over to see a Range Rover idling at the curb. I recognized that car—or, at least, the fleet it belonged to—and hesitated.

Anders took my hand. “Are you coming?”

I would be soon, if I just went with him. But this was the complicated part. “Where are we going?”

“You’ll chicken out if I tell you,” he warned me, “and then you won’t get any of the multiple orgasms I’m planning to give you.”

I stared a moment longer at the Range Rover. Did it really matter where he took me? We’d just kissed in front of dozens of people. Whatever was happening between us wouldn’t stay secret for long. I’d learned that lesson from watching my sister navigate a high-profile romance. And, besides, wherever it was he had in mind would be more private than snogging in the middle of the street.

“Lead the way, Your Highness.”

His wicked smile convinced me—or, at least, the parts of me driven by hormones—that I’d made the right decision. We walked hand-in-hand to the SUV. Anders opened a door and stepped to the side. I peeked in, and my stomach clenched when I saw Brex behind the wheel. So much for keeping things quiet. Brex would probably report what happened directly to Alexander, who would tell Clara and then…

I shook my head to clear the paranoid thoughts. He’d already seen us together. There was no point in trying to hide now. I started to climb into the back seat when Anders stepped closer, offering me a hand to ensure I didn’t lose my balance. My heart skipped a beat, and I found myself returning his wide smile. Anders shut the door behind me and started to go around the car. He paused to wait for oncoming traffic, and I discovered Brexton’s amused eyes watching me in the rearview mirror.

“Good evening, Miss Bishop.”

“Hi, Brex,” I said, skipping the false formalities. I glanced over my shoulder to find Anders still waiting for a slow-moving cab to pass. “If we could keep this between us…”

“Keep what?” He pretended innocence. “As far as I’m concerned, I picked Anders up from having a drink with friends and took him home.”

Home? Something about the way he said it coiled my stomach into more knots. The other door opened before I could ask him where home currently was for Anders. Anders slid in next to me and placed a hand on my knee.

“Ready?” Brex asked.

Anders nodded.

There was no point in pretending I wasn’t curious. I was already in the car, and now that it was moving, I was unlikely to go anywhere. “So, where are we going, exactly?”

“You didn’t tell her,” Brex said, his eyes on the road.

Anders’ hand crept up my thigh a little. “I wasn’t sure she’d come.”

“And now?” I prompted.
