He shook his head and rolled his eyes, but said, “I believe you. Apology accepted.”
Whew.
“Jesus Christ!”
I watched as the blender half-exploded, coming to life without Zach hitting a button, and the entire contents of it blasted all over his face, torso and half the kitchen. After the strawberry-banana mixture settled everywhere I couldn’t help but laugh, and Zach soon joined me.
“What the fuck did you do?” I asked.
“I didn’t touch anything!”
“Well, the kitchen says otherwise. First years! Get in here and start cleaning this up!”
The guys that had been playing video games sauntered in and grumbled about the mess, but slowly started to get to work.
“Thank you, gentlemen. I’ll be sure to tell Liam how responsive you were. I’m gonna take care of this mess,” I said, pulling Zach with me back to our room.
“Into the shower!” I commanded.
Zach kicked off his sandals, which were miraculously clean, but his shirt and shorts were covered.
“Take off your clothes!”
“I can do this myself.”
“You helped me last night. It’s the least I can do,” I replied, tugging his shirt off.
“You took all my clothes off in the shower last night too, Teo.”
“Oh.” I guess I didn't remember that part. “Holy shit, when did you get abs?”
I flinched when he backslapped me, but seriously-
“I’ve had them for a while, thanks for noticing?”
“That’s a hot body.”
“Yeah, it kind of is.”
“It kind of is what?” Zach asked before turning the water on.
Wait, what?
“Nevermind.” I watched as he unbuttoned his shorts and slid them off. “A jockstrap?”
“Yeah, can you quit it? You’re making me super self-conscious. I’m not some little boy anymore, I have hairy pits and my balls have dropped. Since when is my body fascinating to you?”
He had me there. “I’ll throw these in the hamper for you,” I said, taking his clothes with me. Afterwards, I sat on the bed and contemplated what he said.
Was I fascinated with his body? I had been noticing different things lately.
Maybe it was because we’re roommates now?
CHAPTER 4
ZACHARY
“I feel like we’ve seen each other naked more this week than the previous nineteen years of our lives,” I said, walking back into our room from the shower, a towel wrapped around my waist. And that wasn’t a complaint. Something was different with Teo.
