“I’m gonna come,” I warn him.

His lips find mine at the exact moment my release fills him. Gabe mewls into my mouth as I come, my whole body shuddering from the force of it.

“Oh, my god,” he whispers. “That felt incredible.”

“Do you want to get off?” I ask.

He shakes his head no.

“Why?” I ask.

“I want this—just this.”

I kiss his forehead and run my fingers through his hair. “Okay.”

“Will you stay inside me for a while?” he asks.

“Absolutely.”

I could stay inside him forever.

“I love being inside you like this,” I whisper. “Just sitting here while you warm my cock. It’s perfect.”

“I love it, too—I just want to—” His voice trails off.

“What?” I ask.

Gabe kisses my neck and explains, “There’s just something so amazing about giving myself to you. Having you inside me like this—feeling you. It makes me want to surrender, you know? Like…to submit and let you take over me.”

I don’t know if my heart has ever pumped harder in my life.

I wrap my arms around him, relishing how good it feels having him resting on me like this—cradled in my arms while he lets me stay inside him.

It’s nice.

Too nice in some ways.

It’s a reflex of mine to brace for the other shoe to drop.

Because it usually does.

And, tonight, things happened between us that I can’t walk back from. He said things that I’ll remember until the day I die, and I have to know if they’re real.

“Gabe?”

“Hmm?” His head rests on my chest, and I rub the back of his back.

“The stuff you said tonight…you know… about talking to me?”

He trembles ever so slightly at the mention of it. “Yeah?” he asks.

It feels so needy and icky to ask it, but I have to. “You meant it, right? You won’t stop talking to me again, will you?”

Gabe doesn’t answer for a while. So long that it makes me queasy with regret for even asking, but then he says, “I won’t go silent on you, Jason.”

The relief is powerful. I was holding my breath the whole time, so I suck in a chestful of air and sigh.

“Just you, though. I don’t—” he goes quiet for a moment, then whispers, “No one else.”
