Asshole.

Still, I followed his lead, taking off my shoes and socks, and sitting at the edge of the water, stretching my legs out in front of me. The cold and wet lapped at my toes and made every muscle in my body seize up, resulting in a painful twinge from my bladder. I hissed and grabbed at my belly.

“Relax,” Tyler said, knocking my hand away and prying my thighs apart. “Lean back, enjoy the sun on your face. Don’t think about it.”

“I don’t know how you do this.” Met with silence, I pried my eyes open to see that smirk that I wanted to slap off his face if I could move without losing control. Realization hit me like a freight train. “You’re going right now, aren’t you?”

“I lost it the second I saw the water. When I’m padded, bladder control doesn’t exist.” His attention fell to where my leg jiggled, then he glanced over his shoulder. I followed his line of sight to Jordan and Theo talking on a bench in the shade. Butterflies stirred to life in my stomach, and anticipation simmered through my veins.

“Maybe I should give you some privacy,” Tyler said next. Before I could protest, he was on his feet. “After all, it's not good to stay in a wet diaper for too long.”

Even the mention of it made my tummy cramp, desperate for relief. A whimper slipped free, but then Tyler was gone. I watched Tyler waddle his way over to Jordan, the full diaper forcing his legs apart. The typically grumpy redhead’s entire face lit up when he smiled at Tyler. Then he stood and put a hand on the small of Tyler’s back, leading him away—but not before saying something to Theo.

God, I wish I had that boy’s confidence.

I had to admit that being on my own helped me focus rather than being watched. It was like my body had gotten performance anxiety. With my feet in the water, I leaned back on my hands and tipped my face toward the sun. I took a series of deep breaths, beginning to feel my muscles relax from head to toe. The muscles between my legs fluttered, desperately wanting to release.

I tried to relax them slowly, but my bladder was too full. All the liquid I’d consumed throughout the morning wanted out, and there was no stopping it. It burst out of me before I could stop it. I sighed with relief. Warmth bloomed at my crotch as I soaked the plush material, still going long after I thought I’d be finished. Heat rushed to my cheeks, shame niggling the deepest corners of my mind. After a while, it felt like I could breathe again. My bladder ached with emptiness, and my lungs burned with the effort of taking in a full breath.

A smile twitched at the corner of my mouth. I did it. I’d actually done it. Tyler was right: It was freeing, to gain that level of relief without even moving and to know that I would be taken care of had me regressing—fast. Hopefully that someone would be the person standing next to me as if I couldn’t feel their presence the second they walked into a room. They didn’t need to announce themself, nor did I need to open my eyes. My body just knew.

They sat down next to me, clearly uncomfortable about something, and I had an inkling that it was nothing to do with my diaper. When they finally spat it out, I couldn’t believe that they would think I’d be warning them away with my choice in wristbands. That was when I asked them to be my fulltime caregiver, but I knew we had to have a talk first. But now wasn’t the time for that. I was regressing quickly, with my wet diaper cooling uncomfortably and Theo’s hand stroking mine.

“Are you okay, baby?” they cooed, finally brushing hair away from my sweaty forehead. “You look like you’re ready to cry.”

Maybe I was. How did I tell them? “I’m wet?” “I need a change?” “Da, I peed?” What was the protocol here?

In the end, my vision blurred and I rolled my bottom lip behind my teeth to keep it from wobbling. “Something’s wrong.” The words were little more than a whisper, and sent panic fleeting across Theo’s features.

“What is it?” They immediately began checking me over. “Did you get stung? Do you—”

Before I lost the balls to do it, I took their hand and shoved it between my legs. They clocked the full diaper immediately, and sparkling bourbon eyes peered up at me. I still bit my lip, but the sight of a smile spreading across their mouth had one tugging at my own mouth. The tears still threatened—wet diapers were really uncomfortable—but seeing their amusement made it a little better. My face was on fire. Another feeling began to tingle low in my belly, something warmer that made me want to grind against Theo’s palm. “Oh, someone’s had an accident.”

I nodded, biting my lip so hard that the tang of blood washed across my tongue. “Will you change me, Da?”

“Of course, I will, baby.”

Theo stood first, snatching my shoes with one hand and taking my hand in the other. They stayed a step ahead of me, and I used the sway of their hips as a distraction from the uncomfortable feeling in my pants. I didn’t walk so much as I did stomp because I was so unused to the feeling, but Theo continued to smile at me over their shoulder—and that made it all worth it. The pink it brought to their cheeks, the glimmer in their eyes.

Tyler and Jordan passed us on the path, and my new friend only grinned knowingly and shuffled a little closer to the Daddy he’d claimed for the week. The blush across his cheeks wasn’t lost on me, nor were Jordan’s swollen lips.

The changing village was laid out like the bathrooms I’d imagined at a camp, only slightly larger. The floors were plain concrete, and the walls a soothing butter yellow. There was a wall of free-standing showerheads to rinse the sand off, and a hall cutting down the right side that led to the toilets. Theo, however, nudged open a door to my left, revealing a full changing room. There were drawers with supplies, a covered changing table, and even a plush rocking chair.

I stood by while Theo prepared the changing table like I’d watched them do before. They turned, leaning against the table, eyes blown and raking over my squirming body. A new, slick dampness began to form between my legs. Theo looked at me like they wanted to ravage me the way a dying man would his last meal. “Come here, baby.”

They swept me up in one arm, lifting me and placing my squishy butt onto the table. I gasped, wiggling, and the diaper squelched beneath my weight. I giggled.

“What is it?” Theo laughed, brushing their nose against mine.

I clenched between my thighs, attempting to recreate the sound. “Makes a funny noise.”

Theo watched me, licking their lips with a look that I couldn’t quite describe. Their pupils were blown wide, the thin ring of brown around them barely visible. Their cheeks, sun-kissed, showed a faint smattering of freckles. Their breaths came in quick, shallow pants. Their hands flexed on my hips, almost as if they were holding themself back.

I didn’t want them to hold themself back. That animal that was caged behind their self-control? I wanted to release it, to fall victim to its fury and submit myself to the beast.

But then Theo cleared their throat and shook away whatever thoughts swirled behind their eyes. “Do you still need to pee?” they asked, pulling supplies from the drawers—a clean diaper, wipes, whatever that soothing ointment was they put on me.

“I hope not. I didn’t think I’d ever stop.”
