"You want me to go insane, don't you?" Ridge yells from the bottom of the stairs.

I fight laughing, forcing myself to snort. "I'd prefer you remain sane, considering how the last man I married turned out!"

"Yeah, you're trying to drive me crazy!" I latch my bracelet before peeking over the edge of the balcony at him. He's pacing... again.

"You're gonna wear a hole in the floor if you don't stop that!" I sigh, fighting my racing pulse.

He stops dead in his tracks. "Are you watching me? Because you're supposed to be getting ready!"

"I am ready." I step around the banister, dropping the hem of my gown to the floor. His head whips around, trailing my dress up to lock eyes with mine.

His hand flies to his chest, laying over his heart. "You are breathtaking, Harper."

"Oh, stop." My cheeks flame with the smolder in his eyes.

"No, I can't." He moves to the first step, gazing up at me. "You've always taken my breath away, but today, you're taking my heart forever."

"I thought I already had that. Maybe we should call this whole thing off?" I rub my belly with a wink.

"The hell you say! I've waited my entire life for you to have my name and bear my children." He crooks his finger at me. "Get down here, so I can make you mine."

"Like I've ever been anything else." I descend the stairs slowly, painstakingly taking my time. "I hope you know; I'm only doing this for you."

"I gotta say, that glow you got goin' on makes me hard." He adjusts his cock over his pants. "Do we have to wait until tonight?"

I come to stop on the step above him, resting my hands on his shoulders. "Unless you plan to make our guests, wait any longer."

"I wasn't the one that got to breastfeed," he pulls me to him. "as a matter of fact, I'm hungry."

Ridge's hands roam my curves, heightening my already sensitive libido. "As though I could tell Leighton no?"

"You tell me no all the time, she needs to learn at some point, it's not all about her." He runs his nose over the lace on my bodice, enticing my nipples to a perky point.

"Are we gonna get married before Ryder's born or should we just forgo all this nonsense and have a ton of babies?" I giggle, pulling his mouth to mine. Ridge presses into me, running his hand up my back. He holds me close, molding his body to me.

His breath is sweet and warm as he murmurs over my lips. "Can't we do it all?"

"We can, but Leighton will be ready to eat soon, and Ryder is kicking me so hard right now, I think I need to pee again." I giggle against his mouth.

He sighs, releasing me. "C'mon, before our children make us any later."

"Thank you," I take the last step, turning to the bath downstairs. "my bladder and your son also thank you."

He grips my hand, hauling me back to him. "Say it again."

"Say what again?"

"The thing about our son," his lips brush mine. "please say it again."

I tremble, as I always have in his arms, and find the will to utter the words. "Our son."

"I've waited for so long to have you three, I was starting to think it wouldn't happen." When his eyes lock with mine, my breath hitches caught up in the deep emotion they are swimming in. The waves crash into me, love washing over me, like I've never experienced before.

"My beautiful, sweet soul. I love you. I can never thank you enough for this life you have given us. One of meaning and understanding. Unconditional and overwhelming. You are life to me. I will never be the same and will never want to be who I once was." My fingers tangle in his hair as I fist it and drag his mouth to mine.

His lips give into mine, allowing me to tell him everything without using the words that seem to fail me more than they have ever helped. I sweep my tongue over his, swirling it before nipping it.

Our bodies molded to the other, it's as though we move in unison. Just like we do when we make love, it's simply Ridge and I. I'm fairly sure a thread couldn't be found between us had it not been for our clothes, and as if on cue... a wail from the other room, followed by a swift kick to our guts.
