His fingers press against the soaked fabric, pushing it against my sensitive clit. My body arches into his touch as a shuddering moan slips from me. Fuck, I don’t think I’ve ever been this turned on in my life.
My legs part more, silently begging him to continue, but the truck stops. He quickly throws it in park, kills the engine, and removes his hand from between my thighs. The whimper at the loss of touch that comes from me has my cheeks blushing. He’s right, right now I am needy.
“Come on,” he says as he unbuckles my seatbelt and pulls me out of the driver’s side.
“Can I take off the blindfold?”
“Not yet.”
“Ugh!” I huff.
I roll my eyes, hidden behind the blindfold, and yet he still knows. He smacks my ass sharply before pulling my back against his chest. I can feel exactly how turned on he is. Good, he was affected by what he was doing just as badly as I was.
“What was that for?”
“You rolled your eyes,” he says with a hint of amusement in his voice.
“I’m blindfolded. How the fuck can you tell?”
“I’ve watched your body for months, Willow.”
His hand trails up my side, then my arm, and across my shoulder before grabbing my neck. His fingers are angled to cup my chin, turning my head the way he wants so he can kiss along the side of my neck.
“I’ve watched the way you breathe. I know when you’re happy, scared, sad, excited, or aroused. I can tell by the way your shoulders rest if you’re tense, relaxed, or exhausted. And I can tell by the way you tilt your head or angle your body when you’re being a brat…Like rolling your eyes at me. Your body is mine, Willow. I know it better than anyone, so yes, I knew exactly what you did, simply from your body language.”
Well fuck. That was both terrifying, romantic, and arousing at the same time. Before I can argue, his hand moves from my neck back down to my hip.
“Walk,” he whispers against my neck.
“I’m going to trip and fall. I can’t see anything.”
“You know I’d never let that happen, Willow. I’ll always be there to catch you if you fall.”
He gently uses my hips to urge me forward. I let my hands fall to cover his. The ground is a bit uneven, but I’m able to keep my footing. We walk slowly up a slight incline before he stops me by squeezing my hips.
“Hold on.”
I do as he says and I feel his grip tighten, lifting me effortlessly and walking forward. I can tell we’ve gone up at least three steps before he sets me down on my feet.
“You aren’t supposed to strain yourself,” I snap.
“Hush, or you don’t get your surprise,” he whispers against my neck before I’m moved slightly to the right.
He releases my hips then kisses my neck one last time before I can feel him move away.
“What are you…”
“I’ll be right back. Don’t move,” he says, cutting me off.
The sound of keys jingling and a door clicking open are all I hear, then it goes quiet again. I try to focus on the sounds around us. It’s quiet. Nearly silent except for the sound of wind whistling through the trees. The scent is different around here, too. It’s fresher than in the city. We’re definitely out in the country somewhere, and my body feels more at ease than it has in a while.
Deeply breathing in the crisp night air, I can smell pine trees and a mix of burning wood off in the distance from a fire. I can hear Noah somewhere in front of me. I should feel some sort of fear, but I don’t. I know that no matter what happens, Noah will always keep me safe. He's my protector, my best friend, and the only man I’ve ever loved. He’s my everything.
“Ready?” he suddenly asks, making me jump. “Sorry,” he laughs at my reaction.
“I’m ready. Can I take it off now?”
“Almost. Come on.”
