Meanwhile, I rose to my feet, very relaxed in shoving my cock back into my jeans and fastening the button. I almost whistled when I slipped the belt through the loops.

“Hurry. Hurry. Hurry.” Her voice was low but slightly shrill.

“We have plenty of time.”

Chelsea backed away, spinning around to face me while offering an evil eye. “We can’t get caught.”

She was so cute with her face red, completely flustered while I was calm and collected. After taking several deep breaths and fanning her face, she closed her eyes, raked her hands through her hair, and plastered on a smile.

“Ready, sunshine?” It was nearly impossible to keep from laughing.

“Bastard.” As her hand reflexively moved to rub her bottom, I realized her jeans were bothering her freshly spanked butt. Call me sadistic, but I loved it.

When she threw open the door, I don’t think she was expecting to see my brother loitering in the hallway.

“Hi. We were enjoying his collection of weird art,” she told him.

“Well,” he countered. “He is a weirdo.”

The way she tossed both her hair and threw a quick glance of annoyance over her shoulder was one of a dozen reasons why this woman kept my fire ignited.

She walked away and I rubbed my jaw, still hungering for more. As I headed toward the open door, Beck snickered.

“Your fly is still undone.”

“Asshole.”

“Absolutely.”

Everyone was gathered downstairs, except for my father, all laughing and talking. As soon as Chelsea had walked into the living room, she was quickly brought into whatever the conversation was.

I hadn’t really given it much thought in bringing her to see my parents, although I hadn’t wanted it to be a big deal family reunion. However, I could tell she was completely relaxed, which made me wonder what the hell was wrong with her family. Samantha had quickly handed her a glass of wine, noticing I was standing in the doorway.

She was tickled to death things were working out.

I was too, although I wasn’t certain about what being with her would mean in the future. Especially since her father would not be happy. It was time to figure out who this dude was. Maybe I’d go talk to him myself.

That’s how much I cared about her and wanted to spend time with her. Just thinking about her kept my cock twitching. Beck’s hard push against my shoulder was just another reminder I’d been a bad boy.

Maybe he was jealous.

Another drink was needed, if only to keep myself in check until the end of the evening. After pouring a whiskey I started to return to the party when I noticed the light on in my dad’s office. Curious, I headed down the hallway, finding him staring at a group of papers.

“Knock. Knock,” I said instead of knocking on the partially open door.

While he didn’t try to hide what he was doing, he did push back from the desk. “There you are.” Even he had a clue what we’d been doing.

“I could say the same thing. What’s up?” I headed to the other side of his desk, realizing he was looking over a contract. “Is this the crap from the tech company?”

“Yeah, after meeting and talking with the pack, I sent a list of questions and conditions. The bastards thought we were all ready to sign. This was couriered an hour before you arrived. My guess is everyone in town received their offers as well.”

“Do you mind?”

He took a deep breath, searching my eyes. “Go ahead. It affects you boys and Samantha as well.”

I was no attorney nor was I a real estate agent, but I knew the figure was low. “Seven hundred and fifty thousand? That’s shit.”

“A low ball. I’m sure I can get them up to a million.”
