Evie looks toward the ridge. “Where do they want us to go?”

Fathom’s tablet sounds.

A second convoy has separated from Graves’s main force.

This one turns south.

The route means nothing at first.

Then Fathom displays its destination.

Eagle River, Texas.

My brother.

Blaze.

Graves wants me to choose between hunting him and protecting my family.

He doesn’t understand that my family already knows how to fight.

Caleb becomes completely still.

Not calm.

Still.

There’s a difference.

Calm is control.

This is fury so deep it has frozen inside him.

“Your brother is in Eagle River,” I say.

“Yes.”

Mac looks miserable. “Walter maintains contingency files on everyone connected to Shadow Division.”

“Parents,” Rook says.

“Brothers,” Mac answers. “Wives. Children. Anyone he might use as leverage.”

Caleb’s voice turns dangerously quiet. “Blaze’s wife is named Felicity.”

Mac closes his eyes. “I know.”

Cobra steps toward him.

I move between them before anger becomes something none of us can undo.

“Mac didn’t send the convoy.”

“He helped Graves find them,” Cobra says.
