It builds and builds until I come apart, screaming as I shatter into pieces right there where I have my morning coffee.
It takes him a few more minutes to find his release, but when he does, it’s a thing of pure beauty. Years of pent-up aggression physically pour out of his body.
And I’m officially hooked.
ELEVEN
JETT
“So, did he look like Quasimodo?” an intruding husky female voice yells loudly as it wakes me from a peaceful slumber. It sounds like she’s ascending the stairs in Fallon’s house, heading toward us.
I slowly blink my eyes open and notice the sun peeking through the bedroom curtains and find Fallon naked and fast asleep on top of me, snuggled peacefully into my chest with the sheet resting on the sultry curve of her lower back. I’m confident I’ve never woken up this content and carefree in my entire life.
I’ve been carrying a weight on my shoulders for so long I didn’t realize it resided there until just now, when it disappeared. I haven’t felt this light for a quarter of a century.
I can’t help but smile as realization hits me. This is what happiness feels like. This is how you’re supposed to feel when you wake up in the morning next to the person you choose to be with.
I wrap my arms tightly around her and inhale her feminine, floral scent. She might taste like the sweetest candy, but she smells like flowers, and I can’t get enough of it. I’m already totally gone for this woman.
Last night was incredible. We were insatiable for each other. It was undoubtedly the most intense sexual experience of my life. Fallon is an animal. And her mouth? Wow. Not expected but more than welcome.
After the animalistic fucking in the kitchen, we went upstairs and did it again in her bed. I assumed she’d want it slower and more lovingly, but instead she made me get my cowboy hat from the car to wear when I fucked her, and then she wore the hat and rode me like a cowgirl.
She’s so uninhibited. I’m officially addicted. That didn’t take long.
The footsteps draw closer, and the female voice enters the room, bellowing, “Are you still sleeping? You never sleep this la—”
As she opens the door fully, she cuts herself short when she sees us, screaming, “Holy shit,” in an overly loud and unwelcome tone. It’s like nails on a chalkboard.
At that, Fallon begins to stir and slowly turns her head toward the bedroom door, though it still rests on my chest. “Reggie?” she croaks out in the sweetest morning voice ever created. “What are you doing here?”
I love that she doesn’t scramble to get off me. She’s practically dead weight on top of me, and I’m more than happy to have her this close and comfortable with me.
The woman with wild, dark curly hair, who apparently is her coworker, Reggie, stands there staring at me with her mouth wide open like a fish before shaking her head and announcing, “He’s literally the opposite of Quasimodo. He’s like Modelmodo instead. Sexymodo. Hottiemodo. Fuckablemodo.”
Fallon giggles into my chest. “No truer words have ever been spoken. He’s so hot, right?”
Reggie robotically nods, still staring at me. “Was he created in a lab? Am I looking at AI? That’s what he looks like. One of those online AI-created hot guys that don’t really exist.”
Fallon laughs again while they ogle me as though I can’t hear them. I try to bite back my smile but otherwise remain silent, unsure what to say and more than happy for them to continue.
Still without bothering to move an inch, Fallon says, “Jett, this is my good friend Reggie. Reggie, this is Jett.”
Reggie’s eyes widen in realization. “As in Jett Jeffries? The former quarterback and current coach?”
“Guilty as charged,” I admit. “Nice…to meet you. I’d shake your hand, but I’ve got a Sexymodo of my own on top of me.”
Fallon gasps as if just realizing where she is and tries to move, but I tighten my hold on her. “Don’t even think about moving. Stay right where you are,” I command with an authoritative tone I don’t recognize.
She happily obliges and relaxes back onto me. My hands rub her smooth, soft back, encouraging her to remain in her sated state.
Reggie shrugs. “I’m guessing the blind date went well,” she announces sarcastically. “I’m pretty sure he’s the fantasy of every blind date any woman has ever been on in the history of the world.” She rolls her eyes. “That’s so on brand for you, Fallon. Most people pray for a six or seven out of ten on a blind date. You went and found yourself a billion out of ten.”
Fallon giggles again. She’s so damn cute. “Yes, it went well,” she answers. After a contented yawn, she continues, “Go make yourself useful and brew us some coffee. We’ll be down in a little bit.”
Reggie grins widely. “Take your time. No rush.” She wiggles her eyebrows up and down and then turns, walks out the door, and closes it behind her.
Fallon mumbles into my chest, “Sorry I slept on you. Give me one more minute and then I’ll get off you. I’m so comfy though.” She nuzzles her nose back into my chest. “Hmm, I want to pitch a tent and live here.”
