“I already am,” I admit.

“Good girl.”

“I thought you were helping me be bad,” I tease while a rush of excitement whirls up my middle.

“Spread your legs.”

Yep, that does it for me. I scoot up the bed and separate my thighs.

“What are you wearing?”

I almost laugh at the seriousness of his question. “Both the robe and the nighty.”

He hums again with my answer. “Why both?”

“I like how the silkiness feels sexy while the softness of the robe is comforting.”

“God, I’d like to feel them on you.”

I stare up at the ceiling, wondering if he’s serious. I could invite him over, but it’s late and I don’t think that’s the purpose of tonight.

“Holliday, honey, instruction one says to spread your legs.”

“Already there.” My center pulses wickedly as my knees fall open.

“Step two. Turn on the toy. Batteries included.”

I bite my lip, but I do as instructed, listening to the tender vibration as the instrument pulses.

“Step three—”

“How many steps are there?” My breath rushes.

“Eager?” he teases, his chuckle deep and jovial.

He has no idea. If I don’t get this thing lowered and against sensitive skin, I might combust. Good thing he’s a fireman because I’m ready to go up in flames.

“Step three.” He pauses. “Insert into your pussy. Place the small rabbit ear at your clit. Let me hear you.”

“Is that final step really part of the directions?”

“Yes,” he groans.

And I match the heaviness in his throat with my own moan that fills the phone as I place the toy between my thighs and easily slip it inward.

Slowly. Filling. Satisfying. My breath hitches with each thought.

“Jesus,” he hisses. “Tell me what it feels like.”

“Another instruction?” I choke around my sassiness as the vibrator hums inside me and against me. I close my knees, intensifying the rush. “Oh God.”

“That’s it, honey. Let me hear how good it feels to be a little bad.”

I purr and roll my head to the side as my body comes undone. I’m lighting up like a Christmas tree.

“Tell me something.” Nick moans into the phone. “Are you thinking of me? Are you wishing I was over there right now?”

“Oh God,” I whimper afraid to admit the truth.
