“Wait, seriously? Daddy, Austin’s coming to work at Cuffd!” Levi’s voice was loud, like he was shouting a few feet across the room.

“You are a menace, Levi.” There was a smacking kiss as Saul returned to the table. “Sorry, Austin. If you put in an application, we’d love to review it.”

“He did!” Levi clamored. “He was telling me last time about revisions to the list format for visual accessibility. I really do think he’d be great. His application must be lost in HR-land somewhere.”

“Really?” Saul addressed him. “Well, send it again. Cc me.”

“I applied through the web form.”

“Oh, for crying out loud. We’ll look into that. Just send it to me directly. I’ll review it on Monday.”

“Great, uh… Thank you! I’ll find your address online.”

“Of course. No promises, but I’d love to bring you in for an interview.”

Teo smacked a kiss on his cheek. “But he can’t start for at least a week.”

“No?” Saul asked, amused.

“Nope. Daddy’s taking me to the beach. And mountain climbing.”

“Oh, I like you,” Levi complimented. “We’re going to be good friends.”

“God help us,” Saul teased.

Austin leaned back. This wasn’t the evening he’d envisioned, but it was pretty good. In fact, it was fantastic.

They all chatted for a few hours—Teo and Levi got along famously—and Austin just soaked in everybody’s happiness. And the possibility of a job he could look forward to every morning.

When they eventually arrived home in a Lyft, Teo’s head was resting on his shoulder.

“Tired, baby girl?” he asked, as he unlocked his apartment and set his cane by the door.

“A little. It’s been a big day.”

“No kidding. I’m sorry you didn’t get your scene.”

“No, I liked your friends. And also… do you think we could just… not have a scene tonight?”

“You mean sleep?”

His voice turned husky and seductive. “No. I was thinking something else… I love the kink. But tonight I just want to be close to you. Like, regular sex. If that’s okay.”

“Silly boy, there is no such thing as regular sex, especially not with you. But we don’t need to be kinky tonight.”

Teo leaned down to kiss him and… wow. He was used to Teo sinking into submission when their mouths came together, but Teo taking initiative was electric. His plump lips nibbled and sucked, while his tongue tangled and explored.

Austin crowded him toward the bedroom, stripping off clothes as they walked and hanging them over his arm.

Teo was still wearing his pretty things under his shirt, so Austin kissed them off, savoring every lick and curve. Shoulders. Elbows. Belly. Knees. “You’re beautiful, baby. Just gorgeous.”

“Thank you, Daddy. You are, too.” Teo had been just as busy, stripping him down and tossing clothing over the chair.

Austin stood, burying a grin against Teo’s smooth chest. Apparently even when they weren’t being kinky, he was still Daddy.

“Can I touch you, too?” Teo asked, which seemed like a silly question because Teo’s rough fingers were already mapping rivers of desire down his back and across his chest.

But Austin knew what he meant. “There are no rules tonight. You can touch me anywhere.”
