He saw when Sebastian was about to come just before it happened, his whole body going rigid and then redoubling his erratic movements while Jamie flopped languorously in his hold. With a final hoarse shout, he collapsed over the two of them, pinning them together.
For a long time, all three of them just breathed, bodies nestled together with tangled limbs. Neil thought of vines, climbing over and around them, sealing them close.
He never wanted to move, not when everything he wanted was here.
Jamie was the first to raise his head. “Fuck that was good,” he announced. “Maybe I should become a Dom,” he added jokingly.
Sebastian snorted. “So you thought you were in charge?”
“Yeah. It was good, right? Wasn’t it Neil?” His voice went from playful to the faintest quaver of worry at the end.
Neil still couldn’t imagine why he would be concerned, but the other boy’s vulnerabilities pulled at him. “You blew my mind,” he answered honestly. “Best sex I’ve ever had. Best… everything.”
“See!” Jamie crowed, his cheerfulness restored. “I’m practically a Dom already.”
Neil shook his head, smiling. “I didn’t say that.”
Jamie nipped his shoulder. “Who’s side are you on anyway?”
Something happened with those words and Jamie tensed up, like he hadn’t realized what he was saying until it was out of his mouth. Neil thought Sebastian tensed as well. Were there sides to all of this? Was it important?
“Is this a boys stick together sort of thing?” Neil asked, trying to keep things light. “Or can I just be on the Jamie and Sebastian team?”
“Yup. Boys stick together,” Jamie agreed.
“Ha!” Sebastian swooped in. “Then you can’t be a Dom.”
Jamie hmphed. “You set me up for that, didn’t you?”
“Maybe…” Neil teased. He hadn’t meant to, but it was funny to think he had. He liked this playful energy that Jamie brought to everything he did, the way the three of them could banter after sex. Neil wasn’t usually funny, but sometimes around Jamie he managed it.
“Come on, Dragonfly. Let’s get these cuffs off our baby boy. And then you can practice your Dom skills of removing wax.”
They all moved lazily together, a soft transition from the most intense, beautiful sex in Neil’s life to something even more precious. The two of them curled around him while they removed the wax with the dull sides of a pair of kitchen knives. The wax practically dropped off Jamie’s body when he moved, but on Neil’s chest hair it was really stuck.
He didn’t mind the sharp tugs at all, though, when every pull was accompanied by soft kisses and their playful banter. It still felt like Daddy taking care of him and Jamie being perfectly Jamie, as he alternately got into trouble and removed the wax with the gentlest care.
Neil still winced at a particularly large tug that seemed to take a chunk of hair with it.
“Oops! Sorry…” Jamie made a face. “I swear this is the good stuff. It’s supposed to come right off.”
“No worries.” Neil still felt all light and floaty. “It’s almost like a massage. Anyway, how could I object to two sexy men putting their hands all over me?” He gave them an appreciative look, but then his thoughts caught up with him. “Hang on, sorry. Two sexy… people? I promise I’m trying.”
Sebastian stroked down his chest. “That’s all we ask, baby. So Jamie told you I’m agender?”
“Yeah, and that he’s genderflexible. I looked them both up and I want to be respectful and supportive, but rewiring my brain is difficult.”
Jamie shrugged. “Avoiding words like man is better if you can remember, but I won’t ever be offended as long as you’re not saying it to intentionally negate my gender expression. Being male is part of who I am, as long as you recognize that it’s only part of me. I like being a sexy woman sometimes. Or just, you know, a sexy me.”
Neil laughed. “You are a very sexy you.”
“For me,” Sebastian chimed in, “I kind of tune it all out. It’s what my body’s shaped like, so if I get called a man, I just file it away as irrelevant. It’s more of an annoyance when someone starts forcing gender on me, like assuming that I’m meeting gender stereotypes by taking care of the budget or breaking them because I love to bake and take care of our home. Or when someone makes a big deal out of how masculine I am based upon my appearance or something I did.”
“I think Daddy would be happiest if he woke up in the morning and the world had forgotten about gender,” Jamie added as he flaked off another piece of wax.
“God, that would be amazing. We could all just get on with our lives.”
“But it would be so boring!” Jamie lamented.
