Neil snorted. He suspected that Jamie spent a lot of time being naughty.

“Boy!” his Daddy called out, that deep voice vibrating through Neil like striking a bell.

All of those dirty images came rushing back, but this time with that voice standing over Neil and Jamie, a faceless Daddy who could make dreams come true.

God, Neil was getting swept away with this singles weekend thing. He probably wasn’t going to find anyone. The best part might be finding a friend in Jamie. He was impossibly gorgeous and sexy, but he was another boy and he was taken. That made him safe.

He actually seemed a lot like Levi—friendly, flirty, and hopefully willing to help Neil get the hang of things when the weekend was already so overwhelming.

Neil decided that he wanted to spend more time with Jamie if he could. If he couldn’t find a Daddy, which seemed likely, Jamie might end up being the best part of this whole trip.

Jamie

Jamie went through the check-in procedure by rote. The young guy in the fishnet shirt standing in front of him looked nice enough, but it was the one behind him who Jamie was really curious about.

He seemed to be curious about Jamie too, peeking at him with eyes full of hope and awe every time Jamie bantered back and forth with his Daddy. When Jamie looked at the older white man, half the time he looked away to some point over Jamie’s head. No one needed to read a sign that many times to get a dorky mountain climbing joke.

Jamie liked making him blush and look away. On such a well put-together man, it was adorable.

The new guest had thick arms—thick everything, really—wrapped in a sharply tailored suit, like he’d just come from some corporate office. Was he a CEO? Someone who could pay for expertly tailored suits and needed to wear them for work, certainly. Beneath the elegant jacket, Jamie suspected that his belly had a nice, cuddly curve.

His shiny bald head and thick mustache and beard hit all of Jamie’s buttons. It wasn’t quite salt-and-pepper because his hair had a reddish hue to begin with, so more… cinnamon-and-sugar.

But that wasn’t really what drew Jamie in. The older stranger’s shy vulnerability was all boy. Every time he heard Jamie’s Daddy’s voice, he practically melted on the spot.

Jamie was betting that he was new to kink, too. Or at least new to expressing his affinity publicly. When he’d seen the flogger and innocent little butt plug, his eyes had widened and he’d sucked in a sharp breath. He was clearly out of his depth.

Just too, too cute.

Jamie had a sense that letting go wouldn’t be so easy for him, though. “You must be Neil, right?” Jamie asked as the new guest slowly crept closer.

His whole face lit up at being recognized, which transformed his features from plain to adorable. When he smiled, his slate blue eyes had the cutest little wrinkles just starting to form at the edges.

Jamie felt like he’d won some sort of prize when he got that smile, because until that point he’d been worried the boy would run away.

Jamie had been watching him through the glass from the moment he got out of his car, and whatever had happened on the sidewalk looked like it had gutted him. His body language suggested that he hadn’t been that confident to begin with.

Jamie had watched the transformation later as he went from desolate to composed, pushing his emotions away to enter the lobby with straight-backed assertiveness and an imperious mask on his face.

Jamie just wanted to snuggle him all up and let him know that it would be OK.

That’s why he’d been playing things up a bit, trying to let him know that this was a safe space to let his boy side out. He could remember his early days in the kink scene all too well.

Neil cleared his throat, his voice coming out quietly. “How did you know my name?”

“Oops.” Jamie gave him an I’m-so-innocent look, though he wasn’t really worried. He mostly wanted to let Neil know that he had a friend. “Daddy said I wasn’t supposed to tell the guests that I looked at their Cuffd profiles,” he called sotto voce, drawing Neil into his confidence. “So, um, can we just forget that part?”

Daddy’s deep voice floated out of the office. “Daddy said you weren’t supposed to look at the Cuffd profiles at all and let the guests find their own matches.”

“Sorry, Daddy!” he called out sweetly. He might have been doing a little matchmaking in his head, especially with the obvious pairings. But he’d been checking out the menu for himself, too.

“You’re not sorry yet, boy, but I can change that.”

“Mmmmm… yes, Daddy!” It was fun having a whole weekend for Daddies and boys, where Jamie could just say all of this stuff in the lobby.

It was also fun watching Neil’s blush bloom across his face and his eyes go a little bit dreamy. If he was this expressive just standing in the lobby, Jamie wondered what he’d be like in bed.
