How about you start the movie with the others and I’ll get you something from the place next door. It was a little sandwich and salad place, perfect for picking up something quick and healthy that he could smuggle in with a sweatshirt folded over his arm.

Really? Are you sure you don’t mind? Landon’s smile bloomed.

How could he not know that Dustin would do anything for him? That getting Landon a sandwich finally let his heart unclench and soothed his fears? That he would rather miss the entire movie if it meant taking care of his boy and seeing him smile?

I wouldn’t mind at all. That place is pretty fast anyway. Go find us some seats.

In his head he was thinking, Go play with your friends. Relax. Let Daddy take care of you.

Dustin felt his heart melt again. You’re welcome.

He watched Landon catch up with the other two. Ash was holding a bag of popcorn and an ice cream bar and Zhong was watching him affectionately.

Dustin told someone at the door that he needed to make sure his car was locked, showed his ticket, and exited with a purpose.

Maybe he could even invite Landon to spend a few more nights together to make sure he was pampered and cared for. They could even talk about adding some kink back in if the time seemed right. It had been an awfully long time since that spanking, and as gorgeous as Landon always was, Dustin missed his submissive. Landon probably missed it, too.

Dustin ordered a chicken sandwich with every vegetable on the menu and Landon’s favorite chipotle dressing.

They could figure this out together.

But not tonight. Tonight, his boy needed some time to veg out with a movie and friends.

And Dustin got to bring him a sandwich.
