Levi’s heart definitely shouldn’t have warmed with those words. He missed the next bit of whatever Saul said.
“...compensation at time and a half, you know, or convert it into vacation time.”
Sure. Whatever. He knew all that. “Sounds good. I’ll be there soon.”
“Perfect. I’ll text you so you have my number.”
His number? Why would he need Saul’s number? Not that he was complaining, of course.
“OK, bye!”
“Bye.”
Levi’s hand encircled his cock. Ugh. He could just imagine Saul’s hand there, the way it would grip him tight. The way that Saul would stroke him to orgasm and then hold him while he slept.
Fuck. That line of thinking was totally not going to get him to work in twenty minutes. Why hadn’t he said an hour? Maybe two hours, just to imagine Saul’s hot gaze on him?
Totally inappropriate.
He crawled up off the couch, folded the blanket, and wrangled his protesting dick into his sexiest jeans.
If he was working on Shabbat, he could at least look good doing it.
You never knew who might be looking.

Saul
Saul rested the desk phone in its cradle and picked up his cell, still going over their call in his head. Every word of it. Had that really happened?
Sleepy Levi was adorable, his voice thick and sweet like maple syrup. Even when he sounded more alert by the end of the call, he was still murmuring things under his breath that Saul was pretty sure he wasn’t intended to hear.
Those little hums that escaped his lips were even better. He would bet that Levi had been touching himself. Or at least thinking dirty thoughts. He could have sworn he said something about sex on Shabbat being a mitzvah.
Which he did know, by the way. What twelve-year-old hadn’t repeated that dirty fact to his friends?
With Levi, though, it sounded like he took it seriously. He was being goofy, something Saul found absolutely charming about him, but he could see sex with Levi as something approaching a holy act. Taking delight in Shabbat, indeed.
It clearly hadn’t been any sort of planned flirtation, which made it even sweeter. An intimate glimpse into everything that made Levi so appealing. His spontaneity and openness. His silliness and sincerity.
Add in those damn sexy whimpers and rapid little breaths, and Saul was already hard in his pants. He could just imagine Levi’s slender chest rising and falling, the shape of his lips when his mouth opened.
Saul had been thinking about calling in a few more employees, but he couldn’t quite bring himself to do it. He’d already clearly interrupted Levi in his sleepy-sexy dreams, and it felt like bringing anyone else into the office would be a further intrusion.
No, honestly, Saul just wanted Levi all to himself.
And that wasn’t possible.
Saul sent a quick message to Levi with his phone number so he could let him into the building. He kept it short, just the basic info, then tucked the phone back into his pocket. No matter how tempting that gruffly sweet voice was, he was going to keep things strictly professional.
He had to. For a million reasons.
It wasn’t the first time that he’d gone down this dangerous path in his mind. But after that dazzlingly erotic phone call—that conversation that never should have happened—he needed to remind himself why dragging the boy into his arms and kissing him until they were both breathless was a terrible idea.
OK, he could address this rationally. The first, of course, was that he was Levi’s supervisor. Well, Levi didn’t work for him directly. It wasn’t like Saul did his evaluations. But as the CEO, Saul did set bonuses for everyone in the office. And if Nikhil ever left, there was a good chance that either Christy or Levi would be promoted into his position, and Saul would be the one making that choice. So Levi worked for him.
Even if, by some miracle, Levi were interested, the imbalance of power would make people doubt Saul’s morals and Levi’s abilities. They could both lose a lot of respect from their colleagues.
