Then drive forward again.

My mouth falls open.

“Oh.”

His expression changes.

“That’s what I thought.”

“You are intolerable.”

He does it again.

I forget why I was annoyed.

The first few movements are measured, giving my body time to adjust to the fullness of him. The remaining ache dissolves beneath something hotter as each stroke drags over nerves I did not know existed.

My legs wrap around his waist.

Gavin groans.

I pull him closer.

His restraint finally starts to crack.

The next thrust is harder.

I gasp.

Another follows, deeper this time, and the bed shifts beneath us.

Yes.

This.

I grip his shoulders.

“More.”

His eyes snap to mine.

“Say that again.”

“More.”

A growl tears out of him.

The careful rhythm disappears.

Gavin grips my hip and drives into me harder, each thrust pushing me deeper into the mattress while his chest rubs against mine.

It should be overwhelming.

Instead, I want more of him everywhere.

I tighten my legs around his waist.

His mouth crashes onto mine.
