“Yes, Pres.”

“I’ll show you where,” Lurch told them, motioning them forward.

I fell into step beside Banshee as he turned towards the clubhouse, with Lawless following close behind. I’d never been so glad that Lawless and Lurch knew me well enough not to ask questions. I’d explain when I could.

The Grave Prowlers clubhouse was a little different from ours—it was set in a cemetery at the rear of a church. Fucking creepy if you asked me, but it suited them.

Banshee had been true to his word. The only people from his club in the room were the brothers he’d mentioned, along with the clubs he’d invited.

I nodded a greeting to them and found a seat near Maestro and Cash. They’d brought Ford with them. I knew he was next up to be President, so it made sense—they were bringing him in to learn.

“Thanks for coming. Appreciate it,” Banshee started. “I’m going to keep this as short as possible. Glacier needs to get back home.”

Maverick raised a brow at me. I shook my head. I wouldn’t be airing my business here.

“We may have a problem,” Banshee continued. “A new group. I’m not sure you’d call them a gang—they’re too organised for that—but they’re pushing our borders. And if they’re pushing ours, it’s only a matter of time before they start pushing yours.”

“Who are they?” Maverick asked. “We’ve not had any chatter.”

“You may not have,” Banshee stated. “From what we’ve found out, they’re all ex-cops or military—either fired or chucked out for unsavoury conduct.”

Grumbles echoed around the room. A few of the men there had military backgrounds—they wouldn’t be happy.

“Fuck,” I muttered. “You think our ATF problem is part of it? That’s why you asked me to the meeting?”

Banshee nodded and sighed wearily. “Yeah, I do. I’d check out whoever’s in charge. Could be he’s not been fired yet, but I’d bet he’s dirty. Figured we’d have a better chance of staying ahead of them if we shared intel. I’ve already let our mother chapter know about them.”

General muttering and cursing from the Presidents and their men followed. Chairs creaked as they shifted their weight. Fingers drummed on tables. Agitation and anger were heavy in the room.

My brain ticked over as Banshee went on to share what his tech guy found. It wasn’t much, which was no surprise based on the law-enforcement backgrounds of this new threat. They’d know how to fly under the radar and remain invisible until they didn’t want to be.

“I’ll rattle some cages,” Spook, VP of the Saint’s Outlaws, said. He leaned back in his chair, fingers drumming against his thigh. “Still got contacts I can hit up.”

“Appreciate it, brother,” Banshee replied. His gaze lingered on Spook for a second, like he was weighing something. “Appreciate all of you for giving me the time. Maestro, I know you guys are legit, but I figured you’d want to know.”

Maestro tipped his chin, slow and deliberate. “Appreciate the heads-up. We may be clean, but we’ve still got connections.” His eyes briefly met Spook’s—something unspoken passing between them—before sliding back to Banshee. “We’ll ask around, see what we can find. Just because we’re clean now doesn’t mean they won’t try something. We’ll also help if we can. You only have to ask.”

With all of us on the same page, the meeting ended. I spent an hour talking to the Presidents of the other clubs. It was always good to have allies, and these weren’t bad clubs to have at your back. I liked their presidents—even the rich, annoying-as-fuck Maverick. His looks and attitude were deceiving. He might look like he didn’t give a shit and that life was one big joke, but I knew he wasn’t a man you wanted to cross. He was ruthless when he needed to be.

We were all cut from the same cloth. Loyalty and brotherhood meant everything to us. I could work with that.

We were an hour from home when my phone rang. At first, I ignored it, but when it stopped and rang again, I knew something was wrong.

Finding a safe spot to pull over, I ripped off my helmet. Surprise hit me when I saw Jude’s number. It wasn’t like him to call my main phone. We kept our lives separate for a reason. He wouldn’t call unless it was an emergency.

My heart was in my throat as I answered. “Jude?”

I was aware of Lurch and Lawless crowding around me as I put the phone on speaker.

“Glacier, we’ve got intel the ATF is going to intercept a delivery. You got one coming in today?”

“Fuck!” The curse exploded out of me and my blood pressure spiked.

Juju.

“We do. And Jude…” I paused. “Juju’s driving.”

“Fuck. Okay. Do you know where she is?”
