JUJU

Alow hum of pleasure escaped me as Glacier kissed me. He moved in slow, steady strokes, his cock gliding in and out of me from behind with each thrust. I gasped when his hand gripped my thigh, lifting my leg higher and changing the angle, driving him deeper.

Familiar flutters pulsed low in my belly, and I tilted my hips until he nudged that perfect spot deep inside me.

I turned my head to look at him over my shoulder. “God, Simon, the things you do to me,” I whispered, looking into his gorgeous, pale blue eyes. Eyes he hated, but I loved.

“Going to miss you, darlin’,” he muttered, pressing his forehead to my back.

Reaching behind me, I gripped his waist. He’d been tense these past few days. I’d overheard a conversation about bugs but hadn’t asked questions. He’d tell me if he thought I needed to know.

“You’ll see me tonight,” I murmured.

I bit back the whimper of loss as he slid out of me. Turning, I found his mouth with mine in the darkness and kissed him deeply.

It was early, and the sun hadn’t risen yet. Simon, Lawless, and Lurch were heading out to a meeting called by another MC. I guessed they were allies of sorts.

As for me, I was expecting a delivery from the feed store, and I was looking forward to seeing Gabe.

“You’ll be too busy doing President things.” I smiled softly. “Let’s shower. The quicker you leave, the quicker you get back. You’ve got a ten-hour round trip ahead of you, so make sure you guys stop for the night if you need to.”

Glacier pressed one last kiss to my lips before scooping me up. “We will, darlin’. I promise.”

“Good,” I said as he put me down in the bathroom, and I stepped into the shower. “You’ve probably knocked me up, and I’ve already done the single mother thing once. I’m not doing it again.”

Glacier chuckled, placing a warm hand on my stomach. We hadn’t exactly been careful since I’d moved in with him. We’d used protection when we remembered, but we weren’t militant about it. I figured if it happened, it happened.

When my phone rang four hours later, I wondered if today was going to be one of those days when you wished you hadn’t got up.

“Hey, Gabe. You on your way?”

My brother groaned, and in the background, I could hear retching. “Fuck, sorry, sis. I’m not going to make it. I know you need the stock for an order next week, but we’ve all come down with the stomach flu. Dad, Sam, Fin, Libby, the baby, me. I’ve got to take Libby and the baby to urgent care. It’s chaos here. Dad had to close the shop. The entire town has it.”

My stomach sank. The order Gabe was supposed to be bringing was the last one before the winter hit. Glacier didn’t handle deliveries during the winter, which his client understood.

“That doesn’t sound good. I’ll get Harriet to cover the shop. If I leave now, I can be with you in four hours. It’s just gone eight here. I’ll be there by twelve and on my way back by two at the latest.”

“I’m sorry, Juju. If this order wasn’t so important, I’d tell you to leave it.” Gabe sounded awful.

“I understand, Gabe.” And I did. This order would’ve paid for Libby’s hospital fees. “We can’t let our clients down, especially as we’re new to the area.” I knew he’d understand my cryptic reply. “Let me go tell Harriet, and I’ll be on my way.”

“Okay, sis. See you soon.”

I grimaced as he retched before ending the call. I’d be taking disinfectant and gloves with me. No way I wanted what they had.
