CHAPTER EIGHT

Bradley

Within the next few days, Kiera was completely recovered and ready to return to work, which was a bit of a relief to me. Even though she wasn't officially my Little, I had done everything I could to make sure I could take care of her the entire time. Even though I had other responsibilities to the group, I wanted to make sure she was going to be okay and had even fought with Chase in order to get to stay behind to watch over her.

The day Kiera returned to work, I was right back on patrol, but I found that I was distracted by the idea of being away from her. The entire day, all I could think about was how she was once again alone at the bookshop. This caused me to worry about her all day, and I couldn't wait to return to the compound to see her at the compound.

"Something wrong?" Eric asked as he stared at me for a moment. "You seem distracted." Caught off guard by his question, I shook my head.

"I'm fine," I replied automatically, sounding almost robotic as I spoke. "Just eager to be done for the day." A knowing smile crossed his face as he stared at me.

"You want to head over to the bookshop?” he asked, seeming to read my mind as he spoke. “I think I can handle the crew for a while. We’ll all meet up at the bakery in an hour or so. Sound fair?” Realizing that he was giving me the chance to go see Kiera, I smiled.

“Is it that obvious?” I asked, and he nodded in response.

“Just a bit,” he informed me, giving me a wink. “For me, it was obvious from the second you tried ditching patrols to spend time with her while she was still sick. This is just gratuitous.” Realizing that he had known all along about Kiera and I, I felt my cheeks start to burn in embarrassment.

“So, bakery in an hour?” I asked, and he nodded in response once again. “I’ll see you there.” With that, before he could change his mind, I got on my bike and started off towards the bookstore, wondering what I was going to say once I got there.

As much time we had spent together over the last few days, I couldn’t help but feel as though I had already messed everything up between the two of us. After all, we had never really talked about being together and making things official. In fact, I wasn’t even sure if she even knew that I was truly attracted to her. That was why I was so antsy to get to see her again.

The bookshop was a welcome sight, and I couldn’t help but smile as the relief washed over me as I approached the front door. Knowing that I wouldn’t see anyone but Kiera, the eagerness inside me grew, and I started to second guess myself despite the resolution I felt to talk to her about making things official. By the time I entered the bookstore, I smiled as Kiera made her way from the back room and into the main shop.

“Welcome!” she exclaimed as she hurried to greet me. Seeing that it was me, she paused, her smile faltering as she stared at me for a moment. “Oh, it’s you…” Trying not to take the disappointment in her voice too personal, I looked around the store.

“Were you expecting someone else?” I asked, and she immediately shook her head at me.

“No, of course no,” she reassured me. “I guess I just wasn’t expecting you, either.” Looking around, she looked confused as she continued. “Are you here on patrol with the rest of the group?” Taking a deep breath, I shook my head in response.

“No, I’m actually here alone,” I reassured her. When she didn’t respond right away, I continued. “I wanted to see if maybe we could talk or something.” Looking confused, she tilted her head to the side.

“Talk?” she asked. “Talk about what?” Rather than answering with words, I rushed forward, closing the distance between us before wrapping my arms around her to hold her tiny, trembling frame to me.

“I can’t deny it any longer,” I admitted when I finally found the words to say. “I can’t spend another minute without you, and I need to hear you say it before I lose my mind.” Seeing the concerned look on her face, I took a deep breath. “Will you be mine?” Rather than looking scared or confused, a smile spread across her face, and she started to nod her head in response as she smiled at me.

“Of course,” she told me, sounding a bit surprised as she spoke. “I thought you would never ask. However, there is one thing you should know about me…” Raising an eyebrow at her, I stared down at her for a moment.

“Can we talk about it later?” I asked, the feeling of the arousal in my pants distracting me as I held her even closer. “There’s something I want to do first.” Feeling the throbbing cock poke her soft belly, she smiled at me.

“You want to have me already, don’t you?” she asked, giving me a knowing look. Before I could even respond, she continued. “I trust you completely, so, if you think we’re ready for something like that, I won’t stop you. I always had a thing for unconventional Daddies…” Hearing the words leave her mouth made me want her all the more, and I smiled as I guided her behind towards the back room.

“We’ll keep it quick for now,” I reassured her as I moved us both out of view of the main windows. “I just can’t wait any longer. I need you, Little One.” A smile spread across her face as she nodded in agreement.

“Yes, Daddy,” she agreed. “Whatever you say.”

CHAPTER NINE

Kiera

My heart raced as I felt him practically carry me to the back room, the excitement of the situation I was in consuming me as my entire body vibrated from the need and want building inside me. As much as I hated to admit it, I wanted him more than anything I had ever known, and I knew I needed to have him before I drove myself crazy from the lust I felt. His huge throbbing cock stretched out to greet me from the confines of his clothing, and I whimpered as we finally reached the back room.

The back office was secluded and mostly composed of shelves upon shelves of books, hiding us from view of the main office. In my opinion, it would have been better to do this in the office, but, with the wide open window that allowed us to see into the front of the store, I knew it was better. Besides, the smell of the books surrounding us would cover the musty smell of our activities.

As soon as Bradley confirmed we were out of sight, he set me down only to press his body against me, pressing my back against the cold, brick wall at the back of the room. He nudged my legs aside, allowing him entrance to the space between my legs. I didn’t care any more if it was proper or appropriate. Instead, I just wanted him.

“Take off your pants,” he growled into my ear, his voice low and husky as he spoke. “I need you already.” With his lips pressed against my neck, I found myself weak and at his mercy, barely able to move as I nodded helplessly.

“Help me,” I breathed as he kissed my neck, sending hot chills up my spine. “I don’t think I can do it on my own.” Pressing his hands against my breasts, kneading them like dough, he smiled against the skin on my neck.
