"Bianca Darling," she said as she smiled evilly at Stephanie. "It's nice to meet you. I have a feeling that we're going to get along just fine." Stephanie shook her head as she looked at me.
"I'll go wait in the car," she said as she looked at me. "I don't want to get in the way." I shook my head at her.
"No, there's no need!" I begged, and Bianca raised an eyebrow at me.
"Does she have a sharing problem?" she asked, and I rolled my eyes.
"Enough!" I snapped as I glared at her. "We are not together, so stop acting like it!" Bianca raised an eyebrow at me before turning to Stephanie.
"Be careful with this one, Little sister," she said, her voice low and dangerous. "He'll claim that you're special and that he'll never leave you, but, in the end, he'll just use you for sex." She leaned forward a little and lowered her voice. "Hope you like anal." With that, she gave me the middle finger and walked off, disappearing into the night.
As soon as we were alone, I turned to look at Stephanie. She had a strange look on her face, and I knew right away that Bianca had gotten to her. I was about to lose her, and I had to stop her. The only question was how? She was sitting there, completely stunned, and I could see her processing all that had happened. All of a sudden, I was lost for words, and I could only pray that she wasn't getting away from me.
"What's anal?" she asked so suddenly and innocently that I found myself completely shocked. She looked at me with the most innocent expression on her face, and she looked so adorable, but I was still scared of losing her. When I didn't answer, she waved a hand in my face. "Hello?" Utterly stunned as I looked at her, I couldn't hold back anymore. I burst out laughing.
"Oh my god," I laughed as I stared at her. "I'm so sorry! I can't help it! I wasn't expecting you to ask that question." I wiped a tear from my eyes as I took a deep breath. Meanwhile, Stephanie was still staring innocently at me.
"So, does that mean you're not going to tell me what it means?" she asked, and I shook my head.
"I'll tell you what it means, but I want to know if you think you're ready for this," I warned her, and she shrugged.
"It's an honest question," she protested. "If you don't think I'm ready for the answer, you can just say so." I thought for a moment before shaking my head.
"It's a sexual position, but the hole used is often considered the wrong hole," I explained gently. "That's the best way I can put it." She nodded understandingly at me.
"I see," she said, seemingly surprisingly satisfied with the answer. "That makes sense." I raised an eyebrow at her, completely confused.
"So, you aren't mad at me or anything?" I asked, and she turned to face me.
"Why would I be mad at you?" she asked. "You're not the one who seems completely batshit crazy or obsessive. There's no reason to be mad at you." I smiled as I stared at her.
"That's a relief," I said, but she continued to shake her head.
"Not quite," she warned me. "That means that most of your taste in women is terrible, and I'm a little worried about you." She crossed her arms at me. "If you're going to mess around with women, at least pick someone who isn't crazy." I smiled.
"Like you?" I asked. She hesitated for a moment before smiling at me.
"Yes," she agreed. "Like me."
CHAPTER NINE
Stephanie
I knew that Skye would likely hate me forever for this, but I just couldn't help it. He seemed into me, which was more than I could say for any other man I've ever met in my life. The least I could do was give him a chance, especially after he had turned someone away like Bianca, who was considered hot as hell but batshit crazy. As I stared at him, he shook his head.
"I'm not like other men," he warned as he sat down at his desk. "I've messed around with women and never really been a one-woman man. However, I am willing to learn, just for you." I smiled as I sat down next to him.
"I understand," I said. "I've never been in a relationship, so I ask that you be patient with me." He nodded at me.
"I'll let you work," he informed me. "That is until you're fully comfortable letting me support you." I nodded in agreement.
"I think that would help me convince Skye not to be mad at you," I agreed. "She's not going to be happy with me." He waved a hand dismissively at me.
"I'll take care of Skye and Derek," he agreed as he stared at me. "I just want you, and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to have you." I looked up at him, my body quivering from the restraint I had shown all night.
The truth was that, despite Skye warning me to watch out and the fact that I tried to follow her warning, I have been lusting after him all night. He was too irresistible, and I didn't care about his past. The only way I would get my heart broken was if I let myself, and I swore never to let it happen. That meant I would make sure I knew what I was getting into long before I got to it.
"Kiss me," I said, unable to contain myself. "Just kiss me already." Xavier raised an eyebrow at me.
