The brute groaned as he thrust his cock in and out, skin slapping against skin, animalistic grunts coming from the others. None of them were patient men, their desire almost as great as my own. The simple taste of her wouldn’t be enough.
“Oh! Oh…” Her cries mixed with theirs, the sound booming in the dense space. She twisted her head back and forth until her eyes captured mine. Then I noticed a slight smile curling on her lips. I had to turn away, clenching my fists, another volley of anger rushing into me.
Predator.
I’d accepted the role with no disparity, seeking revenge on those who’d turned me into a monster. There was little memory of my former life, only fleeting images haunting me during the long nights.
But I could remember the anguish, test after test performed day and night and I’d never forget the man’s face who’d determined that I should become a beast. I was no scientist. I was nothing but a human throwaway given an opportunity to escape what I thought was the ultimate tyranny on Earth. I’d been a fool, walking into a trap. And there were others like me, promised a new life in paradise.
This was anything but that and still, I was no longer wrapped in chains. At least of the human kind.
I’d once been a free man, sharing a little house with a woman I cared about. Everything had changed one day, ripping away everything I’d ever known. My job. My life. My family. Gone. There was no real justice system left in America, the Republic allowing certain officers of the law to be judge and jury. Within two days of my arrest, I’d been sentenced for a crime I didn’t even remember committing, a heinous murder, or so they’d told me. I’d been railroaded. That much I knew in my heart and soul.
Snarling, I fisted my mouth to keep from crying out. The agony I felt would never leave me, even if all the memories weren’t intact. But the prison? The rat-infested location had been abandoned years before, only to be used once again for criminals such as myself.
Bread. Water. Chains. That’s exactly what I remembered.
And the beatings. They’d been daily at first, until I’d given up fighting and perhaps even some of my humanity in the process. I remember hearing the screams of others as they endured the horrors, never able to block it out completely. Examples. That’s what we’d been told we were.
And the difference in what I’d been forced to accept in Facility 22? Very little. Instead of using whips, they’d used needles, forever altering my DNA, the anguish as my body began to transform, muscles lengthening and bones cracking and reforming indescribable.
I studied my hands, the new lines and muscles created in the warm glow of the firelight. I no longer recognized myself. But I was a survivor, beating the odds and living in the prison for much longer than the others. Maybe they’d preferred that I’d died.
Dr. Forrester. The name stuck in the far reaches of my mind. I wasn’t certain why, but I knew he held some kind of importance. Maybe one day my full memory would return.
The others in the cave were men I trusted, even though certain members of the Galerian clan had their reservations about my temporary leadership. They were significant warriors in their own right, inhabitants of the planet the scientists called Earth Two long before the humans had arrived. Their appearance had been startling to humans, standing nearly seven feet tall with burnished skin and ever changing irises. Considered brutal, they were in fact a well-organized and intelligent group. My directive had been clear; return to the city and prepare to battle the humans.
Finding the female had altered my plan. Fucking her had perhaps sealed my fate. If my indiscretion was discovered, my penance could mean death. However, the risk was well worth whatever punishment might be inflicted. My desire was formidable, a burning need I hadn’t been able to ignore.
When she’d bolted from me, almost falling to her death, I’d reacted without thinking. I had to save her. Protect her.
As well as discipline her.
Her beautiful cries of ecstasy brought me back to reality. I shifted my hand down to my cock, stroking the base. My balls were just as swollen as before, aching from the almost desperate need for release. I rolled my hand around my shaft, moving up and down, savoring the friction created. The pain. She was still watching me, begging me with her eyes.
“Who is she?” Brexin asked, flanking my side, keeping his voice low.
“I don’t know.”
“The other humans are looking for her. You must be aware of that.”
“Let them look. She belongs to us for now,” I said, huffing as I glanced into his eyes. He’d been a good friend, more so than the majority of the others, kind in a manner I hadn’t expected.
He snorted, nodding over and over again. “She’s beautiful and worth the risk. There will be other females coming.”
“I suppose.” I’d heard the words before, one of the only things the men of the city were talking about. I had my doubts. Humans couldn’t be trusted.
“Don’t look so forlorn, brother. We were promised. Steen wouldn’t lie.”
“Steen has been under duress,” I countered, visions of the glass cage in the compound floating into the forefront of my mind. They considered Steen their king, the most respected man in their world, his prowess and battle skills legendary. His capture had put every Galerian city on edge.
“He is powerful, Erik, and certainly wouldn’t lead us astray.” Brexin gazed at the female, taking a deep breath. “We’ve been waiting for a very long time. Family is very important to all of us, as I’m certain it is to you. Perhaps you’ve already found your mate. Steen will honor you, my friend.”
I knew there was much more to the story of the Galerians, but there hadn’t been time to ask as I prepared to overthrow the scientists. “We shall see, brother. One of our men was hit.”
“Flesh wound. He’ll make a full recovery. The hunt has just begun.”
He walked away before I could ask any questions regarding my supposed honor. I’d heard this before, a promise made for services rendered. I could imagine what that meant. I only hoped the Galerians had any idea what they faced in the future. Whatever deal humans made could be easily altered to suit their own needs. I was willing to bet the king had no idea what could happen.
