“If you had done that it may have officially scarred Tyler for life,” I teased, and Cal chuckled as he stood and placed me on my feet. Like my eyes had a mind of their own, I looked down at the large tent sticking out from Cal’s body, and goosebumps rose along my skin.

He quickly undid the knot and pulled the string so my eyes could feast on his cock. I licked my lips. “If that is the case, he better not come out here for a while.” His bright blue eyes were dark with the shadows of the night and the passion floating in them.

Taking my hand, he sat down, and with a gentle tug, I was once more sitting on his lap and staring down into his eyes. “I love you, Cal.”

“I love you too, Sugar. You’ve always been my heart. That has never changed or wavered.” Tears of happiness stung my eyes, and before he could ask about that night again, I dropped my lips to his and kissed him like he was my lifeline, and in so many ways, he was. I hadn’t known until this weekend if I would be okay with sex again, but the moment Cal touched me, my skin felt alive like no time had passed. He was like glowing beacon in a lighthouse that was guiding me home.

Lifting my hips, I sat down and moaned as Cal slid himself into me. Breaking the kiss, I laid my forehead against his and relished him groaning and swearing under his breath. His fingers dug into my ass, and I wiggled around until he was fully inside.

“Holy shit,” Cal said. “I will never grow tired of this. I’m completely addicted to you, Sugar.” I felt the same way and kissed him as I tried to convey the message. Words like same and me too just didn’t do justice to how I felt about Cal.

Our movements started slow, but it didn’t take long for us to lose control. I bounced on his lap, the added friction from the water amazing to me. The first climax snuck up on me as it hardly built but stormed up and over the peak. Cal’s hands held my head firm as he swallowed my screams.

“Fuck you feel so good,” Cal groaned as I shuddered in his arms. “Turn around for me.” Standing, I straddled him again, thankful for the extra wide seats I could kneel on, and sat down again.

“Oh wow,” I panted with the new position as the pleasure coursed through my body.

“Fuck, yes. So good,” Cal growled, as he pulled me back so I could lean into him. I was overcome with sensation as he sucked my neck, caressed my nipples, and pistoned into me. “Yes, Sugar, that’s it. Let go and scream so everyone hears that you’re mine.”

Nothing else mattered other than hearing those words and feeling him take control of my body. “Cal, I’m going to come,” I managed to get out and screamed as his hand slipped between my legs. He rubbed just the way I liked at my clit while he picked up the pace.

“You feel so good, so fucking good. Scream again. I love it when you yell my name,” Cal growled into the side of my neck. “Fuck yes, fuck.”

“Fuck Cal,” I yelled and pressed harder into him as he pumped faster. Wrapping his arms around me, Cal yelled and came, his whole body going rigid as he did. Out of breath, I slumped against him and loved how he never let go. He softly kissed the side of my neck and rubbed his hands gently over my skin to keep me warm.

“Let’s go shower. There is something else I want to do tonight,” he said softly, and my mouth tugged up in a smile. “And no, don’t ask. It’s a surprise.” I chuckled as I slowly stood from his lap.

“Being here with you is already the best surprise.”

Cal stood and stared down at me as his hands gripped my shoulders. His face grew serious, and all signs of joking disappeared in a blink.

“I’m sorry I didn’t talk to you. You might not have told me, and I know things still might not have worked. I also can’t say what I would’ve done. What I do know is that I regret leaving the way I did. I was hurt and angry…I’m sorry.”

“So am I, for so much. I promise I will tell you everything as soon as I can.” He searched my face, and I could see it was killing him not to ask. I appreciated him answering by kissing my lips.

I didn’t care what I had to do to get what I needed from Alex. I would do it before he had any more ideas. I was never letting Cal go again. Not ever.

CHAPTER FIFTEEN

CALLUM

“You’re crazy,” Skye said as I scooped her into my arms and walked across the snow. “I can walk, you know?”

“Yes, but this is a lot more fun. Besides, you’re bringing the hot chocolate. That’s an important job.” Skye rolled her eyes at me. “Now close your eyes.”

“Fine.” She buried her head into the side of my neck, and I shivered as she kissed me. You could never get lost time back. Life just didn’t work that way, but I wanted to make the last few hours we had up here the best I could. I wanted these memories to be the start of the future we always should’ve had.

“Keep them closed,” I said, making her laugh.

“I am,” she said as I put her down on her feet. I held my thumb up towards the house and Ty, who was manning the switches.

“Okay, you can open them,” I whispered in her ear, and nothing could ever surpass the surprised look on her face as she opened her eyes.

“Oh my god, Cal, it’s beautiful.” I took the thermos from her as she stepped towards the nearest tree. “How,” she asked as she turned around to look at me, tears glistening in her eyes.

“Magic elves,” I said, laughing. “I may have borrowed some of the guys to help make this happen. Do you like it?”

“Like it? I don’t even have words. It’s incredible.” I wrapped my arm around her shoulders as we stared at the pond decorated with lights all around the edge. I’d set up a bench, and the two nearby trees were lit up with an array of multicolored lights. For as long as I’d known Skye, she loved Christmas. She would run over to our house and drag Hayley and me out to walk the neighborhood and see everyone’s lights. It never changed, and when we started dating, I would find the biggest and most beautiful displays to take her on dates.
