Rhys growled a sound that pushed me right to the edge of that glorious drop off, and I sat there, teetering, until Rook groaned beneath me. The vibration pushed me over the edge, and I yelled into Rhys’s mouth.
I broke the kiss and leaned my head forward onto Rhys’s shoulder as he continued to move on Rook. I forgot for a moment that I still had Rhys’s cock in my hand.
I wanted to try something different but not get myself into trouble, so I wiggled into a position that still gave Rook access to my womanhood while I stroked Rhys a few more times before slipping him into my mouth.
I closed my eyes and let myself drift in the sea of pleasure coursing through my body. There was no way to explain what it felt like to be with these two men. No one could have warned me about the danger of their touch. Now that I tasted them, I never wanted it to end. It was a different danger than the coven described. This was addicting.
I was nearing my next orgasm when Rhys gripped my hair harder and pressed down on the back of my head. I knew he was close to coming and picked up my pace, moaning when he came in my mouth. I drank him down and marvelled at how he tasted. So different from Rook and yet equally delicious.
“I dinnie know if I’ma gonna be able ta take anymore,” I said, pulling Rhys from my mouth.
“I don’t care,” Rook said, and I knew he meant it. “You’ll keep coming until you have nothing left, because the two of you almost fucked up this triad. This is your punishment. Now lie on your back. It’s Rhys’s turn to taste you while I fuck him the way I want.”
Rhys and I shuddered at the same time, like Rook’s words had power over us. I didn’t know how much more I could handle as I stiffly rolled off Rook’s face to do what he said. Yet, as Rhys settled between my spread thighs, grey eyes shining at me, as he slowly drew his tongue up my womanhood, I knew it wouldn’t matter. I would go until, I indeed, passed out.
Rhys
I paced the massive office and rubbed at my sore temples. The conference call was loud as all those on the line continued to talk over one another. One look at Rook told me exactly what he thought of the discussion. None of it was good. He told me he would do whatever I needed but wanted nothing to do with the call or his father. The only reason he was in here was to make sure I didn’t lose my cool. I was the face of the McGregors, and couldn’t give them any reason to doubt my leadership qualities. I listened to one excuse after the other as to why we shouldn’t spend extra money, and it sank in that I needed to prove why I belonged at the big boy table. I knew I would be forced to take control of more aspects to do with the Faction, but today was not the day I expected it to happen.
“Cannie everyone no’ speak one at a time?” I probably would’ve had better luck talking to the wall than this pack of braying donkeys. My control slipped, and I slammed my fist down on the massive wooden desk.
“Fuckin’ enough,” I bellowed.
I was shocked when everyone on the line quieted. I leaned in so that I would be heard clearly over the speaker.
“This fightin’ is doin’ none of us any good. First, I din’t give a crap about how much it is gonna cost. Those who are gonna be named or have been named, in me and Rook’s case, need extra protection. We will be hirin’ as many as it takes to protect the next triads, or ya might as well hand over da keys ta another Faction now and maybe if we be lucky dey won’t be slittin’ our throats.”
Straightening up, I crossed my arms over my chest. “Second, we be needin’ food. No’ in a month, but now. Villagers da survived da attacks are wanderin’ in from all over da place lookin’ fir food and refuge. We need ta help ‘em. Flitters or no, dey still be in our care an’ dey normally grow our feckin’ food. Angus, we be needin’ ya send da plane with as many provisions as ya can. Fly it in here dis week and next, which will tide da island over until we can get a ship ‘ere.”
“Rhys, we do not take orders from you,” Nigel said, his tone as condescending as ever. “You’re not properly unioned, or had the ritual to make you officially the head of the McGregor family, and yet you’re talking like you’re the head of all our families. Seems a bit arrogant of you, don’t you think?”
“Aye, ya be right. I dinnie run all da families, but can even one of ya tell me dat dis is a bad plan?” Only silence greeted me this time. “Naw, I din’t tink so. Unless, Nigel, ya plan on savin’ jus’ yerself and leavin’ da rest of us ta starve. If dat be yer plan, den by all means, please speak up an’ let us know so we can be weedin’ out who our real allies be.”
“Don’t be preposterous. Of course I don’t mean that I want the people on the island to starve.”
“Well, I be beginnin’ ta wonder. Ya’ve made it pretty well-known dat ya din’t like me as head of da McGregor family. Now yer arguin’ over sendin’ food and supplies dat are essential ta all dose livin’ ‘ere. Seems ta be a little suss ta me.”
“What are you trying to say, Rhys?” Nigel asked, his voice rising with his own anger.
“That is enough, you two. Blaming one another is not going to help anything. Rook, do you have anything to add to this conversation?” Angus asked, and I looked over at Rook, who didn’t bother to blink away from what he was reading. “I mean, you are supposed to be the One, are you not?”
“No, Father, I have nothing to add. Rhys is doing a fine job. He’s doing exactly what I asked him to do as my Two, and that’s to deal with this meeting,” Rook called across the room, his voice full of disdain and boredom. I knew he hated the conference calls and was happy to let me take control which worked out well. I was the planner. I laid out the maps and sat the pieces on the board to figure out our next move. Rook wanted me to point him in the right direction and tell him and the others what to do. Once more, I marvelled at how well we balanced.
I could feel Rook’s anger simmering under the surface of his calm façade, and underneath that was hurt. His father was quick to insult him, and I now understood where some of his insecurity lay and why he openly revolted against anything Faction.
I wanted to say something, but it would only look like Rook couldn’t stand up for himself. Rook needed to control the meeting at some point to shut them all up, but I wasn’t going to force it today. That required a wee bit of massaging or me giving him a blow job at the same time. That had distinct dirty fantasy possibilities. If I did that, I might eventually get him to agree.
Rook looked up as I chuckled and gave me a wink, the anger disappearing.
“I guess that is fine then,” Angus pronounced each word like he was saying, fuck you too. This was the first time I was a part of any of their interactions, and I couldn’t help wondering what happened to put such a rift between them.
“Rhys does have a point,” Angus continued. “We all have sons and daughters who are at the age where they will be paired up, and they all need more protection. The other Factions and even the Hunters have been quiet for a long time. The fact that they have suddenly gotten so active and are attacking as openly as they have means they consider us a threat and are not about to stop without a fight. If they weaken us, then we are all as good as dead.”
“Aye, it does. It also means dat as soon as we ‘ave supplies ta make it thru da winter, we can focus on which Faction is tryin’ ta take us down,” Caleb offered. It was nice to know that my friend had my back.
“No one be takin’ us down,” Lochlin growled into the line. The noise was followed by the sound of fists banging on wood.
“So, da question remains…Angus, are ya goin’ ta be sendin’ da jet?” I asked.
