I was tempted as I stared at her lush ass to take my increasingly building frustrations over Minetta out on her. Maybe if I fucked her, I’d get over the human girl that was quickly becoming a plague on my mind and apparently my body. I stared down at my pants and my flaccid cock and growled. She was like a disease that I didn’t know how to eliminate.

“Let’s go!” Skeet jumped with the command and instantly picked up his trotting pace.

Grand, gold, double doors lay at the end of the long hall. I stared at the massive structure and took a moment to admire the craftsmanship. The doors had an image of myself engraved into them, the likeness astoundingly well done.

“Do you like them, Master?”

“I do, Skeet, excellent choice.” The demon’s horns lit up again with the compliment. Skeet tapped on the door in a rhythmic pattern, and slowly the massive gold door swung outward as a guard pushed it open. Cheering reached my ears along with screams and pleading before there was a splash. Thunderous cheers erupted from inside.

I stepped forward into a room that was built much like a human, Roman coliseum, and wondered if Dai had a hand in the design. This was so to her taste. Rows upon rows of demons sat on the stone seats as they watched the show in front of them. A massive tank rose up out of the floor, the clear sides showing off the zombie-like, great white sharks slowly swimming around.

What the?

Their face and bodies were missing large chunks of flesh, making the large terrifying predator even more horrifying. Blood floated in the middle of the tank, but there was no sign of what they had killed.

A scream had me looking up, and high above the tank was a platform. A dark-haired human girl was screaming as she tried to run back from the way the guard was pushing her. She tried to dive under his arm but was easily scooped up and carried over the demon’s shoulder.

“Is everybody ready?” Speakers boomed as the demon’s voice echoed and was followed by thunderous cheers. Loud music began to play, the bass thumping with the eerie demon song.

Another loud scream reached my ears, and my attention returned to the girl that couldn’t be any more than twenty at the most, her terror filled the room, and those sitting around roared with excitement. The demon slammed the human girl down face first on the platform and pressed a meaty knee into her back as he tied a thick rope around her feet.

Her eyes found mine in the crowd, and her blue eyes shimmered as tears ran down her face. My heart quickened as I stared into a face so similar to Minetta. The demon rose from kneeling on her back, and as it did, it gave the girl a mighty kick that would have easily broken ribs. She wailed in mixed pain and fear as she soared through the air. The rope caught her like an unforgiving bungee cord and jerked her by her ankles just short of hitting the water. She swung helplessly like bait on a line for the circling creatures inches from her face.

I couldn’t take my eyes off the scene. The demon part of me was fascinated and wanted to cheer with the others, but a small part in my soul that had long ago died pulsed with dread.

“Please, help me,” she pleaded quietly as she swung inches above the deadly tank. “Please.”

The sharks moved in, circling in on the prey that was just above them, and as they did, so did I, my feet drawing me closer to the tank. The girl screamed again as one of the great hulking sharks hit the side of her head with the end of its nose. Her long hair that was hanging in the water lay across the shark’s nose before he sank below the surface of the water. The girl curled herself in half and grabbed her legs.

My heart pounded hard for her, another face coming to my mind. She panted and groaned but managed to get her fingers on the rope when one of the sharks rose from the water. Time slowed, the image of the mouth gapping and teeth extending seized something in my chest. With a bone-crushing snap, the girl was bitten into three parts. Her feet stayed attached to the rope while her ass and back were devoured by the hulking shark that splashed back into the water. But it was her head and arms that floated slowly downward that had my attention. The head drifted to where I stood. Even in death, her eyes found me. They blinked once before another shark banged into the tank wall, taking the meal, the girl’s face disappearing down the dark gullet of the demon shark.

“Master isn’t it great!” Skeet screamed excitedly over the deafening noise. I looked around the room, and every demon was on their feet, betting chips in hand. “They bet on how long they will last before dying. They love it and come back again and again.”

“That was a human, not a soul, but an actual living, breathing human,” I said, my head turning to stare down at Skeet as the anger burned and twisted in my gut.

“I know! They cost a ton to get alive, but they make the best show, Master. Look around. The audience loves it. Not only do they pay for admittance, but they spend a ton on betting. We are making more on this one room than the entire rest of the casino. It’s a real killing.” Skeet laughed at his own joke.

I slowly turned in a circle, and sure enough, demons of all shapes, sizes, and ranks were still on their feet yelling and clapping. “To kill them down here will leave their souls in purgatory forever,” I yelled at Skeet over the screaming crowd wanting more.

“I know, isn’t it fabulous?” Skeet smiled and clasped his small hands in glee. “Look, the next one is getting ready. Skeet pointed across the room to a door where a guard was pushing the next human out.

“Were they sinful humans?”

Skeet tapped his chin and then looked up at me. “I don’t know, Master. I don’t ask. I just place the order for ten humans for every show. It does cost a fair piece to have them removed from Earth, but we are making enough that I’m thinking of increasing the show to twenty humans and splitting it into two different groups. The waiting list is that long, and we can charge whatever we want, and they will pay.”

“Ten a show to date? How long has this been going on?”

“I’m not sure, Master. We don’t have the same time you have on Earth.” Skeet flipped through the clipboard and stopped on a page, his eyes moving back and forth as he read. “That last human pulled our number up to two thousand, three hundred and one. Oh no, now three hundred and three consumed. Profits have increased by over two hundred percent. We make more than any other palace. Not even the fight club can compete with this.” Skeet giggled, the sound coming out like small, excited snorts.

“Who signed off on this,” I asked, the first real threads of anger seeping into my voice.

“I did, Master. You put me in charge of creating new and exciting entertainment that would increase the profit of the casino. This fits both. It has never been done. It is exciting and highly profitable.” Skeet smiled, and as he did, a wild fury consumed me.

Reaching out, I grabbed Skeet by one of his short horns, and with a heave, I tossed the demon into the tank. His stubby arms and legs swung wildly as he tried to avoid the water like a bird without wings.

“Let’s see if they like a demon,” I growled. My power surged, and I knew my eyes were glowing brightly, the golden hue cast onto those closest and reflected off the clear shark tank. Spreading my wings wide, I rose into the air.

“Get out or be next,” my voice boomed and echoed off the stone with a mighty roar. The demons didn’t hesitate and trampled one another as they scurried to get out before I followed through on my threat.
