“VIP?” I nodded toward the plush area, and the still quarreling siblings followed. The demon blocking the entrance bowed deeply before stepping aside to let me pass. The long chains that hung on its body jingled with the movement.

“Mammon.” Its voice was rough, like it swallowed a handful of razor blades.

Not bothering to acknowledge the demon, I walked past and looked for the booth with the best view. A number of demons that I didn’t recognize were in the booth I wanted, but as soon as I glared in their direction, they bolted, leaving the booth unoccupied.

The next round was about to start, and the cage was quickly getting slippery with guts and gore, which would only add to the excitement. I sat, taking in the next opponents as they made their way into the cage. Skye continued to stand and stared down at me, her face looking ridiculous as she pushed her lips out in a typical fake human pout.

“Fine, take a seat,” I said, and she immediately found her place on my lap. She snaked her arm around my neck while her hand wasted no time in undoing my pants.

“Do you have a recommendation?” I asked, and Skye paused in her action to look at the stage. She had an uncanny ability to pick the winner.

“I’d take the Jorkoran over the Sarzitkur. I’ve seen it fight before, and it is sneakily good for its smaller size.”

I nodded, but as the fight began, I couldn’t see well around her body. Sighing, I plucked her off my lap to place her on the floor between my legs. “You were making a better door than a window. If you want my dick, suck it from down there.”

“You’re an asshole Ri.”

“And yet you keep coming back,” I said, and she rolled her eyes but got on her knees.

“You betting tonight,” Neven asked.

I scoffed and rolled my eyes at my friend. “You know I don’t bet. I don’t need luck to make money.”

“It’s not all about the winning. It’s about the thrill of the gamble.”

“Don’t talk foolish, I don’t gamble with my money.”

“Whatever man.” Neven held his hand up and called over the bookie and handed him a thick stack of the verok to be placed on the demon that Skye recommended.

I rolled out my shoulders and got comfortable as Skye continued to work over my cock. “Hey, Neven, any word on what Michael may be after this time?” Neven had the most reliable sources and was the most cunning at gathering useful information of anyone I’d ever come across. It could be the fact that he was half Imp, or it could be that he was a genius when it came to computers and all that interweb stuff. Either way, if anyone were going to find out what Michael, the all great and mighty pickle up my ass, was up to, it would be him.

“No, I haven’t had time to put out any real inquiries. I’ve been a bit preoccupied today. My ass is still sensitive, by the way.”

“Are you complaining?”

“Not at all. You can go harder next time,” Neven smiled, his handsome face shifting just enough that he could pass for a man or a woman depending on the light. “As far as Michael is concerned, anything with him always gives me the willies.”

“The willies?” I raised an eyebrow at the word. “Ouch! Skye, don’t bite.”

“But you taste like candy,” her raspy voice laced with lust. “I want to swallow you whole as you come in my throat.”

“Okay, you seriously need to lay off your visits to Lust’s palace. You always turn into such a whore after you pay that place a visit.”

“Oh please, I was always a whore, and the parties are fucking awesome. I wish you’d come with me sometime.”

I stared at Skye to see if it would register that she’d insulted herself, but as the seconds ticked by, she resumed bobbing her head on my cock. I realized she didn’t see it that way. I mean, I had my Wednesday, but for her, if her eyes were open, it was enough of a reason to fuck whoever was in arms reach.

“Do you think He.” Neven pointed toward the sky mean my Father. “Didn’t give Lust a body on purpose? You know for choosing Lucifer’s side?”

“Who knows, but it’s certainly possible. I wouldn’t put it past Him. I can’t imagine not having a consistent body. No wonder he’s a bitter prick. I mean he always was an arrogant jerk, but he’s been unbearable since our fall.”

I turned my attention back to Neven as he typed away on his multiple phones. “Ri man, Michael’s mission is like deep undercover. Everyone is coming back with crickets. I know he can’t be here to put his feet up and take a load off, but none of my usual sources know why he has suddenly shown up, or why he is asking about you.”

I sipped my perfect martini, the flavors intoxicating on my pallet. The fighters in the cage were rolling around in the dirt, but I couldn’t concentrate on what they were doing. My mind kept playing over all the possibilities of why I was being sought out. A small moan left my lips as Skye’s talented tongue indeed lapped at my shaft like I was her favorite treat.

As Skye predicted, the bright blue Jorkoran pinned the other demon, and even though this match didn’t end in a head popping off, the opponent was going to need at least a week to heal from the deep lacerations. Neven smiled as the verok holder came to pay Neven his winnings.

“I do have one theory,” Neven said, rubbing his chin once he got resettled.
