“I want.” I ran my thumb across his sweaty forehead. “Forever.”

Slowly, he pulled out of me.

I winced.

He offered a sheepish smile. Then he dispensed of the condom, grabbed the comforter to pull over us and, finally, yanked me into his arms.

Where I wanted to stay forever.

“Oh my God!” A disembodied voice came from downstairs.

I smiled to myself as I collected my papers I’d strewn across the dining room table.

Andreas flew up the stairs and yanked me up. Then he pulled me into a massive bear hug.

I gripped him tightly. “Okay, what’s up?” After six weeks, I knew him as well as I’d known him before.

“Nope. You see why you can’t say anything.”

“Uh, yeah. That would explode the internet. So…” I wheeled my hand to say get on with it.

“I went into his office and Shayna was there.”

“Your agent from LA? She came all this way?”

“Yep. She wanted to be here when he offered me one of the lead roles.”

“Holy shit.” My heart sped up.

“Right? Oh God, Freddie. This could be my big break. I mean, my film with Norah’s got potential…but a spin off of VJ?”

The biggest show on the network? Yeah, I got it. “You said yes right? But you were thinking of going back to school—”

“I can take classes virtually. I’ll have to make time for them, shooting, and you—”
