Oh, and it didn’t take long.

“Cumming!” she shouted as her body broke apart, taking him with her on that ride over the edge and into the abyss.

The colors exploded.

They both wavered.

This.

Was.

Perfection.

In fact, this was so needed that it immediately began filling their souls back up. What began as her running to find herself, ended up helping them not only find each other, but a way to rejuvenate after a year of difficult moments.

They were healing together.

Gently, he laid her beside him, and she curled into his side, resting her head on his chest.

Night was coming.

And for a while, they laid there in silence, just taking in everything around them.

It was when Hamlet, the very curious horse headed their way, that Ethan knew they couldn’t stay there forever.

Oh, he would.

But it wasn’t possible.

Michael knew he was there, and at some point, they’d send out a search party. The last thing Ethan wanted was for them to be discovered naked in a field of flowers.

The two men were like sons to him and Elizabeth.

That was just…weird.

As they lay there, the cooling air sent goosebumps across their bodies, and Elizabeth was there for it.

ALL.

OF.

IT.

That had been an amazing memory that Elizabeth would hold in her heart forever. It wasn’t often a girl got to make love in a field of flowers.

Especially with a man she cherished.

This healing was also about finding herself once again, and she’d not only found Elizabeth, but she’d found Ethan too.

It was a new beginning.

“Mr. Blackhawk, you know how to woo a girl,” she admitted, running her fingers over his abs, just to watch them quiver with lust.

Oh, well, his girl deserved this kind of wooing. Ethan wished he’d thought of it sooner. Maybe had he, Elizabeth wouldn’t have been run into the ground with work, worry, and stress.

To share his feelings, Ethan rolled to his side and tucked some of Elizabeth’s hair behind her ears.

When it was the right person, yeah, he certainly did know how to woo the right way.
