He rubs his hands between my legs. I’m wet, dripping down my leg. “The dickhead professor said he could smell your arousal. Were you wet for him?”
Is that what he wanted to square away?
“What? God no. Of course not. If he smelled anything, I was thinking of you.”
“I know you were. Who else would make you drip at the thought of me?”
Cocky ass. Although he’s right.
Without warning, he slams into me. I grip the comforter to keep from toppling over; he’s plowing into me possessively. Claiming a point he didn’t have to make because he’s all I ever wanted, but I’ll take his angry jealousy fucking any day. I bite down, holding my screams. I’m so close.
“I never want to see any other man sending you flowers.” Who knew a slap on the ass would make a woman go wild? Slap. His hands wrap around my neck, holding me in place while he fucks me so hard I might actually see stars.
“Never,” I purr.
“Good.” His finger gently brushes the racing pulse of my neck. “I never want to see you in another man’s office…alone,” he sneers with venom in every word.
“Yes, sir.”
I scream when he flips me to my back, his powerful hands grip my waist, and his mouth slants over mine, hot and demanding. The kiss is eager and fueled with desire, his tongue slides against mine in a rhythm that makes my heart race wildly against my ribs. I can taste myself on him—tangy and intimate—as his stubble scrapes deliciously against my chin. Max hisses when I reach for his wet, hard length and shove him inside me. I can feel his smile when I clench around him and buck my hips. My body arches, demanding to be filled completely. I missed the way he felt inside, how with each stroke his back flexed. His cock is ruthless, plowing into me, driving deep, and sending me into oblivion.
“Fuck,” Max grunts.
Our bodies shake with the release we both have been starved of. Before rolling off me, he plants a kiss on my shoulder. Both of us catch our breath. We stay like that for a moment. His heartbeat under my ear. Still fast but slowing.
“Are you okay?” He eyes the baby bump.
“Fine,” I answer, out of breath. Damn, I’m out of shape. “Completely fine.” It feels like I just ran a marathon. Max pulls me to his chest, his heart beating rapidly, but he’s not breathless as I am. Although it makes sense; he trains a lot.
“When’s your next appointment? I want to be there for all of them.”
“In two weeks,” I reply, tracing the letters that spell love on his knuckles.
“Did you go alone?”
“Only to two of them. The last one, Leo went with me.”
Max lifts his head slightly. “You’re telling me Leo knew all along?”
“I begged him not to tell you because I wanted you to hear it from me.”
He huffs. “I’m actually surprised he didn’t mention it to me. He can’t keep anything in, but for you, he will. You mean a lot to him. It makes me happy that you two have gotten close. Leo needs as many friends on his side as he can get.”
I pop an elbow into the mattress, my head resting on my hand. “I’m surprised you’re not jealous.”
He chuckles. “Of Leo? Never. Now, if he had a thing for you, yes, I would, but he cares for you like an older sister. Hell, he even walked out of his job because he believed the fake tabloids.” He wipes hair from my face. “He’s been acting off. Not his usual self.”
I still don’t know how to tell him about Carlos. I know what he means to Max. It’s a delicate subject, and what if he doesn’t believe me? Not tonight. Tonight is not the night for that. It’s about us—our baby.
“I’ll talk to him.”
Max nods, kissing me on the cheek. “Good. Now get some rest. It’s two in the morning.”
What? We must have been at it for hours.
Max tucks me in and lays me back on his chest. “Another thing. We need to start driving lessons.”
“What?”
