“What the fuck, how do you –”
She cuts Blaze off and tears my world apart as she states, “He fucked her not even a week after I left, allowed her to ride him in his bed in the clubhouse because he lost my trust. He refused to leave the club until he regained it, now I won’t ask again, my son!”
“Fuck me, someone’s been sending her shit,” Dad rasps while I keep eye contact with my pissed-off wife.
“He’s on life support,” I admit, knowing not to touch the whole me fucking another woman because it doesn’t matter that she left, we’re still married. I cheated, yet again, plain and fucking simple, and nothing will take that away.
Her tears fall, and she nods, then demands, “What else?!”
“Shit,” Blaze mutters with pain, and I whisper, “and there is a very low chance that he’ll come off it.”
She nods again as her tears fall before she gingerly stands, and I take her in, and fuck, she’s still just as beautiful as she was the first day I met her.
Taking a deep breath, she looks at my dad, and she states, “After I received a photo of my husband screwing that whore,” I flinch, “I received several photos of her in his embrace, then five months later, a pregnancy test picture.”
I look at her sharply because what the fuck?!
“After that, I received pictures of my husband and that bitch, fucking, her in his arms, her lips against his, his hands gripping her hips with his tattooed wedding ring on display,” she spits and both men look towards my left hand, Dad instantly cursing for not noticing it but I don’t take my eyes off my extremely pissed off wife.
“I called him when I peed on the stick. After I felt dizzy and nauseous, I called my husband, and his fiancée answered. She told me that even pregnant with his child, she would kick the shit out of me if I ever called him again,” she states, and my body trembles.
“So, you didn’t try again?” my dad confirms, and she scoffs.
“Actually, I tried exactly ten more times,” she snaps, “The day our son was born, when I had to push him out on my own, his fiancée threatened to report me. The day our son took his first steps, which I recorded, his mom answered and believed that bitch who told her in the background I was some crazy stalker. Then she threatened to report me, the third time, when Kayden said ‘Dada’ for the first time, when he got his first fever, when he went to school for the first-first time, when he-he wanted to join the football team and be a wide receiver like his-his daddy and the last time,” she takes a deep breath, “I finally had enough of that whore answering his phone so I called the club itself, a prospect heard all about the crazy girl trying to get a hold of Crusher, and he said he was getting a restraining order after confirming their relationship. So, no I didn’t try just the one time, I tried multiple times, just like I called him after he left a pissed off voicemail on my old phone, just like I was going to call him after Chief Marshalls got my number from his daughter begging me to call him because he was self-destructing. Instead, I got several messages about my sons school, that my seven-year-old was stuck in the middle of a goddamn shooting because apparently there is more evil than the Chargers out in the world!”
My tears fall hard and fast as I drop my head.
“If you don’t believe me, I live at two-three apple tree drive, the small two-bedroom apartment that I rent, my phone that I smashed after hearing that bitch kiss my husband, is on the kitchen side. I’m sure Trick can hack into it, and you’ll see all the proof. You’ll also see when I blocked the number sending me pictures, the day I received a photo of a baby with Marley James Smith captioned underneath it.”
She walks past us before she stops when Dad asks, “How did you evade Trick so easily?”
She looks at me with a cold smirk and answers Dad as she reminds me, “I’m not a Jackson, I’m a Smith,” and I swear I want to punch myself in the face for my stupidity.
Tilting her head, she completely shreds my world as she says coldly, “But considering your son cheated more than once, our divorce will go through, even without his signature, because it’s time we both move on.” Before she walks out, and I know she’s about to go see our son, while I’m fucking stumped at her words.
Divorce, she still thinks I’ll allow her to divorce me?
She tried to tell me…
Shit.
“Fuck’s sake, that is why Trick couldn’t find her!” Blaze snaps, and I slowly close my eyes, feeling like a fucking idiot while my tears fall.
I didn’t think she’d use her married name…
Fuck.
Chapter 13
Alexiana
I tremble as I open the door to the room in the ICU, making my stomach twist, but my tears fall hard and fast when I lock eyes with my son's form looking so tiny in the hospital bed. A tube is down his throat and a sob releases, causing me to quickly cover my mouth as I freeze because I’m not dreaming. This really happened, a crazy woman actually brought a gun into an elementary school with the intent to kill an innocent child all because her husband had an affair.
My bottom lip wobbles as my tears continue to spill over, the beeping echoing, telling me he is alive – for now.
He may never wake, he…
I take another step forward as another sob releases, seeing how pale he is, how still he is…
