“Congratulations to the both of you for coming together,” he says as he walks over and pats my back, smiling at Sienna.

Alessandra and Heaven hurry over and tug Sienna away from me.

“She’ll be right back,” Heaven promises.

As my friends and brothers congratulate me, I can’t help but think over Uncle Alejandro’s remark.

In the same fucking way?

What exactly did he mean? I mean, both Leo and he were dicks to Aunty Kiara and Azura, but that can’t be it.

My train of thought dies as my attention snaps to the lycan who is lighting a cigarette.

There is one other thing they had in common…

“I’m sorry, excuse me,” I mutter, brushing past Asher and Carter as I make my way across the room towards Uncle Alejandro.

The noise of the party feels distant suddenly, muffled beneath the violent pounding of my heartbeat as I stop in front of him.

“What did you mean by that?” I ask quietly, forcing the words out evenly despite the tension tightening every muscle in my body.

Uncle Alejandro looks at me over the rim of his drink, a cold smirk slowly tugging at his lips. His dark eyes gleam with something unreadable, but beneath the amusement, there’s a dangerous edge to them, too.

“Oh, you know exactly what the fuck I mean.”

My stomach drops.

“Alejandro!”

He glances towards whoever called him before looking back at me one last time. Then he pats my shoulder almost mockingly and brushes past me.

My heart thunders as I turn, scanning the crowd until I find her.

She’s standing beside Heaven and Allie near the dance floor, blushing at something one of them says whilst absently brushing a strand of hair behind her ear, completely unaware that my entire fucking universe has just tilted on its axis.

The music fades into nothing.

The laughter.

The conversations.

Everything disappears beneath the roar of blood rushing through my head.

I stare at her.

Slowly, my gaze lowers down her body until it stops there.

Sienna’s pregnant.

With my child.

What. The. Actual. Fuck.
