My brain was fried.
I was panting, and my body was contorting, chasing more than just the little brushes I was getting from his fingertip. It was frustrating and exhausting–I was crying out to Thayer to touch me and make it better, but he just stayed steady.
“P-please,” I tried to cry, but all that came out was broken sobs of the word. I didn’t even know what I was asking for, but it didn’t matter–Thayer didn’t waver.
It was just barely not enough, but it built.
It built inside of me, and as frustrating as it was, it fucking melted my brain when it finally boiled over. I let out a loud cry, sobbing into nothing as the pressure finally built so high it broke.
My whole body released at once, settling like dead weight while my brain floated. It was intense and exhausting–my dick felt dead by the time I was coming back down, a mess of needy whines and pants.
Thayer was over me again, crowding me exactly how I didn't know I needed–settling me. He was warm and comforting on top of me, even when something wet and rough irritated the skin of my stomach–he kissed the irritation away and stayed close.
Whatever just happened to me…I loved.
Chapter 13
Thayer
This shouldn’t have felt this easy.
Ash melted into me.
It took some coaxing, but only because Ash would have happily stayed on his back with me crushing him forever if I’d let him. It took real work to get him cleaned up without protest and under a blanket, cuddled up to me.
But once he did?
It was exactly what I’d been missing.
Ash clung to me in some half-asleep daze, burying his face in my chest with grumbled awareness. He’d let out happy sounds every time I kissed his head, and he was clearly fighting sleep that his body wanted.
“Wait,” he mumbled, words only just barely making sense from him as his hand stiffened on my chest. “You...didn’t,” he managed, dragging his tired hand down my stomach until I caught it, stopping it.
“I’m okay, baby,” I whispered, pulling his hand back up to rest on my chest again.
He tried to fight against me in protest, but one grab of his neck and a soft kiss, and he was my soft baby again–almost asleep, actually.
“Go to sleep,” I said against his lips, kissing him one more time before he finally gave up.
It was sweet that he cared, but he was far too out of it for me to explain that I got plenty from that. I may not have gotten off, but doing that for him and having him respond so easily to me satisfied a part of me that had gone cold and dormant for years now.
Every part of me knew how much worse things just got from doing that, but here I was, still holding him while he slept and admiring the little noises he’d make. I was too in this to even think about stopping now–the only thing that could possibly make me back off now was Ash himself.
If Ash didn’t want this, I’d stop immediately–real people in a D/s relationship knew who was really in charge in their relationship.
Ash slept for quite a while undisturbed, which made a little sense–I’d assumed he didn’t sleep so well last night.
Reed told me before our first road trip about why Ash had to have his own room, so the unsatisfied edge I left him on probably only added to the discomfort in the strange environment.
Honestly, no part of me thought he’d actually fall asleep with me now, which only satisfied me more–he liked this so much that he was rendered soft and vulnerable, just for me.
Ash started to stir around midnight, grumbling and groaning as he tried to pick his heavy head up from my chest in the dark room. “Thayer?” he asked in a breath, his hand fisting in my shirt while he tried to make sense of what was going on around him.
“Right here–shh,” I whispered, covering his tense hand with mine until it relaxed and he resettled. “You okay?”
“Mhhm,” he hummed tiredly, nuzzling his face into my neck and lying more on me than before. “I feel really good,” he mumbled into my skin, making me snicker at his tired haze and how sweet it was coming off. “Thank you.”
Oh, God–he was already so good at some of this stuff that it made my head spin. It was effortless for him, but he was giving me exactly what I needed.
