Jeneticist: Not at all. I was just thinking about you, actually.

Jeneticist: How was your holiday?

Seeker: Holiday?

Jeneticist: Uh, we just celebrated Christmas. And New Year’s. That’s why I didn’t message more. I thought you’d be busy.

Seeker: I’m not personally familiar with those holidays.

Jeneticist: Where the heck are you from? English must be your second language.

Seeker: How did you know? I have studied quite a lot. If you could point out any errors, I’d like to learn more about English slang.

Jeneticist: Oh, you’re doing great. I just happened to notice a few unusual word choices. I pay attention to stuff like that. It’s cool that you’re not American. I like out-of-towners. 😉

Seeker: Out-of-towner? I prefer “worldly explorer.” 😄

Jeneticist: Should I get you a guidebook?

Seeker: For where?

Jeneticist: My hometown? Just kidding. Mostly. You’d probably have to get on an international flight for that.

Seeker: No, I’m already traveling in the U.S.

Jeneticist: That’s interesting. 🤩

Jeneticist: I’d love to travel more.

Seeker: Is there somewhere you’d like to go?

Jeneticist: To see the Hadron Collider in Switzerland. And Space Con! One of those things is happening this year, though. I’m thinking about inviting everyone in the chat to join.
