We were slippery and soapy and the heat of the water inflamed my fever for him.
He pulled back and brushed a kiss to the apple of my cheek and then his hand covered mine. I slowly pleasured him as he held onto my hand, but I didn’t want him to finish that way.
I released him, forcing him to stop, too.
He frowned. “What are you doing?”
“Turns out I can’t really follow directions.” I grinned wickedly and sank to my knees.
I teased the crown of his shaft with my lips.
And then he surged between them, hitting the back of my throat.
I choked, but his groan of pleasure told me he liked that.
I liked that too.
His thighs became my anchors. The hot water beat against my back.
I lapped and sucked him, wanting him to lose control. Wanting him to give me every drop of him.
My nails gouged into his skin as he thrust and thrust into my eager, waiting mouth.
His fingers plowed into my hair as he used me for his own pleasure.
I loved every minute of it.
He owned me. Possessed me. And even though I was on my knees, I was the one making him fall apart.
His release was warm and salty in my mouth, and I refused to let any of it go to waste.
When he stilled, I gently eased back and then kissed the tip. I grinned up at him.
He was looking down at me. Awe was written across his face.
Stratton cradled my cheek in his hand. “Thank you.”
I turned my head and pressed a kiss to his palm. “You’re welcome.”
He helped me stand and then he pulled me flush against him. He was still slippery with soap and I gently urged him to turn so he could have the water.
My stomach rumbled, causing him to laugh.
I pulled back to look at him, grinning like an idiot. “Guess you didn’t satisfy me completely.”
He squeezed my butt cheeks. “Night’s not over, gremlin. Night’s not over.”
CHAPTER THIRTEEN
I pulled Stratton’s sweater over my head. It fell to the middle of my thighs.
Stratton, with a towel still around his waist, chuckled and then rolled up the sleeves for me.
While he was getting into comfortable clothes, I went back into the kitchen to heat up the barbecue that had long since gotten cold.
Not that I was complaining.
“You know,” I said as he came to meet me. “This day started off really sucky. Funny how you never know how things will turn out.”
