I don't give a damn about the sweat anymore. Tonight, I just want to enjoy myself.

I have no idea how long we danced. Time completely lost all meaning.

“I'm gonna grab some water at the bar!” I shout to the girls before weaving into the crowd.

I sway as I shove people out of my way.

This is life or death.

“One—no, three waters, please.” I hold up a finger. “Gotta stay hydrated, right?” I nudge the person beside me.

My elbow hits nothing.

No one.

I shrug, pay for the waters, grabs them, tucks one under my armpit, the other between my legs—its fucking cold—and open mine.

Suddenly, hands settle on my waist, the touch is electric with the touch sense enhanced.

I whirl around and throw my water straight into the face of whoever dared touch me.

“Having fun?” the voice asks through the water, droplets spraying back into my face.

That voice.

Oh.

“Evren?” I tilt my head.

Squinting, I watch him rake a hand through his soaked hair, slicking it back before looking at me again.

Fuck, he is damn hot, makes my pussy tickling and aching.

“You're ignoring me,” he growls. “At least now I know you'd throw water at a stranger who touched you.”

He leans closer.

“I won't have to gut them.”

“Evren!” I grin, genuinely happy to see him, the alcohol clearly making my walls go down.

“Ignoring you? What the hell are you talking about?” I sway slightly where I stand.

“I've been calling and texting your comm like a fucking maniac.” He clenches his jaw. “Then I checked the little camera I installed and saw you were with your friends... but then you left your loft.”

“Oh!” I punch him in the pectoral.

His eyes flick down to where I hit him before returning to mine.

“You seriously need to stop watching me through that thing. It's creepy, you freak.” I point a finger at him. “Besides, my comm's off. Tonight is a no-comm night.”

I nod proudly.

Then I suddenly gasp before he can make one of his smart-ass comments, I grab his jaw and yank him down until we're eye level.

“How did you know I was here?”

“The charm.” He shrugs. “There's a tracker inside it.”
