“Head home, make sure everything is charged,” Tex replied, putting a bag into the back seat. “Clean up the house and make sure it’s perfect in case Nadia wants to come to our place.”

Grey frowned.

“We were supposed to go by that new office building in the city and do a quote.”

“What’s the point of running our own business if we can’t blow off work every now and again?” I said with a grin.

His brows narrowed, and then he shook his head.

“Fine, because we’re going to talk through sex toy safety. You know it’s really important not to just shove it in…”

As Grey and Tex talked, I pulled my phone out and tapped out a message outside of the group chat.

We’ve got something wicked planned, omega. If you don’t like something, all you need to do is say stop, but if you don’t…? I felt my fangs sharpen as I grinned. We’ll take control of your pleasure. Watching you come over and over, the neighbours wondering what the fuck we’re doing to you because you’re making so much noise? Tell me you want that.

I’d texted girls before, but my heart never pounded like this and I definitely didn’t stare at the screen, waiting for an answer. My chest didn’t tighten as I saw little dots appear.

Yes. That word gave me a bone-deep feeling of satisfaction. I think I’d like that a lot.

“Job’s on, fellas,” I said as I put my phone down. “We meet the omega at 5.30, so before that we need to work out a plan.” I glanced over at Grey. “You love a good plan, right?”

He shook his head.

“I’ll make a call to the manager at Hamilton Law and tell them we need to reschedule the quote appointment.”

Chapter 12

Tex

“Just through here, milady.”

As I ushered Nadia into the house, something in my chest settled. A need to see her in my space, heading down my hallway, I realised. Of course, as I led her deeper into the kitchen, another one came to the fore.

To see if we could drive her mad with everything we’d purchased.

“A glass of wine for the lady?” I said, holding up a bottle for her to inspect.

“Hope it’s something you like.” Ethan was finishing off rinsing the glasses we’d bought, then drying one before presenting it with a flourish. “Tex said you drank white wine but didn’t specify what kind so we did our best.”

“Pinot grigio?” If she had any idea what her smile did to me… “That’s perfect.”

No, she was, I thought as I grabbed the brand-new corkscrew and then opened the bottle. Grey had been at pains to show me how to pour properly so I practised that skill now, twisting the bottle at the end and then pushing the glass her way. Nadia took a sip and then made a small sound of pleasure before setting it down.

“So are you going to join me?” she asked. “Or are you guys trying to loosen me up for whatever you have prepared?”

Going to the fridge, I pulled out a beer for me and Ethan, twisting the cap off mine. Holding out the neck, she tapped her glass against it.

“It’s—” I started to say.

“The plan is to do a little sensory deprivation.” Grey had excused himself to go and set up. “Blindfold you.” He said that in the same way he might discuss the weather, but despite his cool tone, he watched Nadia, cataloguing her every reaction. I knew because I was doing the exact same thing. “Then test your reactions to some purchases we made.”

“What…?”

At her stammered reply, I shot Grey a dark look. That smug bastard just stared back at me, completely unrepentant.

“Nadia didn’t feel comfortable with experimentation,” he told us, like we weren’t in the same chat. “Springing something on her would not go well.”

“Nope,” she gasped, having drunk down most of her wine. “So you want…”
