“Baby, what's wrong? What happened?” Storm was so scared and concerned.

“I let Lunden take my virginity last night!”

“Oh my Godddd! Why, boo? What did I tell you?”

“We like each other. He said he left his girl of five years for me. He said he loved me, Storm, but now he’s acting like it was nothing. He wasn’t even here this morning when I woke up in a pool of blood. Then he laughed at me when I texted him.” She reached for her phone and showed Storm the text. Storm was furious reading his message and was ready to tear her cousin a new asshole.

Storm shook her head. “Hell no, I’m about to go find his ass and beat him or kill him, whichever comes first. He ain’t finna do you like he do these thots around here. You supposed to be his lady. Ain’t that what he said over the mic last night? It’s all over the internet and Harlem that you are his girl, so he better act like it. Plus, I know damn well Dexz ain’t send you out here for his bullshit. He better clean up because my boy will be home soon, and I know he snatchin’ you up.” Storm stood up.

“I’ll be back, don’t worry about the shop. It's open, and the girls are there working. I’ma go set this nigga straight.”

“Thank you, Storm. But please don’t do nothing crazy,” Pretti said as she walked her to the door.

“I’m not, but I’m going to set him straight. His mama ain’t raise him like this. He’s trippin’ hard. You get some rest. I’ll tell your clients you will be in tomorrow.”

The girls hugged, and Storm headed out to find Lunden.

Pretti was drowning in her feelings, so she rolled a blunt, poured some wine, and then turned on Foolish by Ashanti. She hated how naive she was about relationships, and she hoped she would grow out of it.

Storm raced over to Lunden’s trap spot because she knew that's where he was. Lunden was her blood cousin. They had grown up together, so she saw how he loved on girls and left them, but she wasn't letting it happen to Pretti. Lunden changed women like he changed his drawers when shit got too serious. That’s why he broke up with his girlfriend to be with Pretti; his ex was pressuring him to have kids.

Thankful that Lunden’s new dark gray Benz was sitting right out front of his spot, she parallel parked her Benz right behind him. She pulled her 40 Glock gun from under her seat and got out. She walked straight to the house and through the gate, mad as hell. The look on Pretti’s face had her fuming.

“Aye, yo, what the fuck you doing, Storm?” One of Lunden’s workers asked as he trailed behind her through the house.

“Shut the fuck up, nigga. Where the fuck is my cousin?” she roared as she walked through the house.

“He in the kitchen, workin’,” the man replied, confused.

When she walked into the kitchen, she spotted her cousin sitting at the table with a girl on his lap. She was snorting a line of cocaine while Lunden coached her. She looked no younger than eighteen and already strung out on drugs.

“Yeah, snort all that shit up and tell me what you think,” he said, not even noticing Storm was in the kitchen.

“For real, Lunden King Campanella? This how you do my friend? Sit up with some coke head, young bitch!” Storm shouted, finally causing him to look at her.

“Aye yo, what the fuck you doing in here with that burner? Who let her in here with a gun?” Lunden asked with a frown on his face while looking at his men, who followed her into the kitchen and didn’t do anything.

However, they knew not to fuck with his big cousin. She was a tiny little woman but just as hard as the niggas around her. The tension in the room was so thick you could cut it with a knife.

“Aye bitch, get the fuck up and get out of here before I blast your ass!” Storm shouted at the young girl still sitting on Lunden’s lap. The girl ran out without a second thought. She may be high as a kite, but she wanted her life.

Storm sat down and put her gun on the table.

“Aye, what the fuck is your problem, Storm? You crazy or something?” he asked, puzzled.

“Nigga, you been chasing Pretti since she moved here. You didn't even give another nigga a chance at her or let her explore her options. Now you finally got her virginity, and you just leave her and laugh at her? Are you fucking stupid? She doesn’t have nobody but Dexz and us, and you be treating her like shit. If it was me that you was with, your ass would be stabbed. Now I gotta be her protector from you. You’re supposed to be her protector from these other niggas, but you out here acting weird. Yo’ mama ain't raise you to be a fuckin’ lame, Lunden!” she preached.

He sighed and sent his goons out of the kitchen.

“Look, Storm. I was drunk last night, and I don’t know what the fuck I was thinking. I woke up and bounced because I don’t think I can do this love shit. She ain’t like the girls I’m used to, so I’d rather just back away.”

Storm’s eyes bulged out of her head. She wanted to pick up her gun and shoot him in the kneecaps, but she kept it cool.

“Well, you should have thought about that last night, dumb ass, grown-ass nigga. If you don’t snap the fuck out of it and go home to that girl, I'ma kill your ass.”

“I don’t think I can–”
