At that moment, the waiter came and interrupted their conversation, but Dexz’s words danced in her brain because it was the first time that he let it be known that he had his eyes on her. It gave her butterflies. However, she took his words with ease because she knew it wasn’t happening anytime soon.
Chapter 8
BIG BOY LESSONS: LATER THAT NIGHT…
Burner Man drove up the street to their enemy’s block, looking for the address. They were on a mission that couldn't wait any longer. Every day Dexz left the house, he was out slanging big weight. He went from selling one kilo to one nigga, to him and Burner Man being the plug. He supplied Los Angeles, and he also supplied his best friend, Lunden, in New York with Za.
Shit was booming for him, and his name rang bells in the streets. He and Burner Man had girls driving cross-country, delivering for them and bringing back thousands of dollars. However, one of their girls never came back from New York with their money. Dexz and Burner put a hit on the girl and found her right under their nose, and the person who used her as a mule was somebody who owed him money already.
“I can’t believe that bitch ran off with our shit for that nigga,” Burner said, frustrated.
“I told you she was weird, bro. She was too easy,” Dexz stated as he shook his head.
“Then this nigga Finesse had her do the shit.”
“Nah, they were in it together. I told you, man, just gotta stick with the broads we got. Kayla said she would take her place. She’s been dying to be a runner anyway.”
“A’ight, fuck it then. Put her in place.” Dexz pulled long and hard on his blunt.
They pulled across the street from the address. Burner Man killed the engine, and they wasted no time busting into the house. Dexz used his black field Timberlands to knock the door off its hinges.
When they stepped in, the living room was silent, so they started walking through the house. They walked up the stairs with their guns to their sides, checking every room until they got to the end of the hallway. They heard sex sounds coming from behind the door.
“No wonder this nigga didn't hear the door kick in. He in here getting some pussy.”
“I bet he in there fucking that bitch,” Burner said.
Boom!
Dexz kicked in the room door, frightening them shitless. Sure enough, Finesse was in the room fucking their ex-runner.
“Oh my God, Burner!” she shouted.
“Yeah, it’s me, bitch. You thought I wasn’t going to find you?” He grabbed her by her weave and shoved his gun in her mouth.
Dexten grabbed their enemy and pushed him to the ground. He kicked him in the mouth so hard he knocked out his teeth.
“Where the fuck is my dope, nigga?” Dexz grunted and kicked Finesse again in the mouth.
“Nigga, it’s in the basement! Please don’t kill me!” he pleaded.
Boom!
Dexz heard Burner’s gun go off in the woman’s mouth. Then he let her body fall to the floor. “That nigga told us where the dope is. Shoot his ass, and let’s go!”
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Dexz let off three shots in Finesse’s head and ran out of the room with Burner. They searched the house looking for the basement until they finally found it. Finesse and their ex-mule had taken ten kilos of cocaine, but they left with more than that. They stuffed all the money and dope that was in the basement into trash bags and headed for the door.
Dexz and Burner crept out of the house with four bags and blood on their hands. They didn’t know how much was in there, but they knew it was probably just the amount they were supposed to make on the run they sent the girl on. After dumping their guns and gloves, they were back on the road. Half the car ride was silent until Burner’s phone started to ring. When he looked at it, a huge smile came across his face.
“Yeah, yeah, I’m on my way. How many centimeters is she?” he asked the caller on the phone. “Okay, I’m on my way now.” He hung up.
“Bro, you have to take me to the hospital. I can see what’s in them bags with you later. I’m having my eighth son,” he beamed.
Dexz laughed. “Damn, nigga, your eighth?”
“Yup! I love all them too. Now step on it; she’s ready to push.”
