“Please.” It was a plea like so many times when he asked me to fuck him. One I wouldn’t deny for the world.

I smiled and closed the gap between us.

The moment our lips touched, my nerves fired, and my soul was consumed by lust. I took control of the kiss, and his body softened beneath me. There was nothing like this, no better feeling than him giving up his control and letting me take over.

I gripped his hip and held him closer, leaving no space between us. He was as hard as me, and I slid the tip of my tongue across his lips, tasting his sweetness.

When our tongues clashed, my whole body ignited.

Robbie put his hands behind my neck.

I groaned and deepened the kiss, taking his surrender.

I broke the kiss, knowing if I kept this up, I’d fuck him right here on the street, to hell if anyone saw us.

I traced Robbie’s ravaged lips with my thumb. He was panting, but his eyes glittered. It was as if he had… No, it couldn’t be.

“Saturday?” I asked.

Robbie nodded. “Saturday.” He caressed my face, his touch soft.

I leaned into it, and then he stood on his tiptoes and kissed me.

The kiss was slow. His mouth warm. A tenderness that carried so much more. When he let go, his eyes shone with tears. But his smile, it was something else.

Could he have remembered?

The Uber arrived just as Robbie stepped away.

He licked his lips. “I can’t wait for Saturday.”

I couldn’t resist and hugged him, letting all my love flow through my embrace.

He returned it, his arms tight around me, then moved away and entered the car. “Thank you for a night I’ll never forget.”

I closed the door and waved goodbye. I was floating with glee. My whole body lit up, and the time I had to wait was nothing compared to this moment.

I went to my apartment to shower and change.

The sensation of his skin against mine lingered, sparking a fire that refused to fade. I went into the shower and stroked myself, thinking of his soft body beneath me. Of thrusting my cock hard and deep within him. Of him begging me to come inside him.

And I did, gasping for air as the water turned cold.

As I changed into my bartender clothes, I grunted.

Waiting till Saturday would be torture.

Chapter 22: Clear as Day

Robbie

Iuncorked an Angeline pinot noir and drank a glass. Today my parents would answer for what they’d done.

I jumped at the hard knock. “Coming!”

“Hey!” Mom kissed my cheek. “Are you all right?”

My pulse was so hard I could hardly articulate. I nodded. “Come in.”
