"Yours."

"Say my name."

"King—"

"Again."

"King!" She's screaming now, her nails raking down my back, her pussy clenching around me. "King, I'm going to—"

"Come for me. Come on my cock, Demi. Let me feel you."

She shatters.

Her whole body convulses, her pussy gripping me so tight I can barely move. She screams my name, over and over, and the sound of it pushes me over the edge. I bury myself deep and come harder than I ever have, spilling inside her, claiming her in the most primal way possible.

We stay tangled together in the aftermath, both of us breathing hard, neither of us willing to move. I'm still inside her, and I don't want to leave. Don't want to break this connection.

"Stay," I murmur against her hair.

She laughs softly, a tired, satisfied sound. "I already told you. I'm not going anywhere." A pause. "Couldn't even if I wanted to."

I roll to the side, pulling her with me, tucking her against my chest. She fits perfectly, like she was always meant to be here.

"What happens now?" she asks quietly.

I press a kiss to the top of her head. "Now, you sleep. Tomorrow, we figure out the rest."

"And my father?"

"We'll deal with your father." My arm tightens around her.

She's quiet for a moment. Then: "I love you."

The words are soft, sleepy, almost like she doesn't expect me to hear them.

"I love you too," I say into the darkness. "Now sleep. I've got you."

She's asleep within minutes, her breath evening out, her body going soft against mine.

I stay awake a little longer, watching her in the dim light, this woman who chose me over everything she knew. Who walked into enemy territory to save my life. Who gave me something I didn't even know I was missing.

This is going to start a war.

Worth it.

CHAPTER 6

DEMI

Iwake up to sunlight streaming through unfamiliar windows and the heavy weight of an arm draped across my waist.

For a moment, I don't move. I just lie there, letting the reality of where I am sink in. King's bed. King's room. King's body pressed against my back, warm and solid and real.

I'm in the Sons of Ruin clubhouse. And I'm never going home.

The thought should terrify me. Yesterday, it did. But right now, wrapped in the arms of the man I chose over everything, all I feel is peace.

Strange, how the scariest decision of my life turned out to be the easiest one to make.
