The moment when it rippled over her, the moment when her body arched and shuddered, her lips parting to moan softly as her pleasure peaked? That was going to be my new favourite fucking wet dream. It was going to fuel me for the rest of my damn life. The way she looked when she came. The way she fucking rocked against my fingers and let me deliver pleasure exactly how she needed it. How she took what she needed, teaching me her preferences along the way.

Claudia sagged against me, letting me hold her tight against me as her breathing slowly calmed back down and her skin started to feel chilled against my fingers. I dragged the covers around us, which wasn’t easy because we were mostly on top of them, but it gave her some coverage at least.

“I can’t believe you’re choosing me,” I murmured, knowing she wouldn’t hear me, knowing it was safe to say the stuff I didn’t want her hearing. She wasn’t necessarily choosing me for any longer than right now, but she’d already given me more than anyone had in my life.

“I never planned to wait to do these things, it just happened. I’m so glad I’m doing them with the woman I’m falling in love with,” I whispered, a majorly coward act, because she couldn’t hear me, would never know, but somehow I just had to let it out. I think originally I’d mistaken obsession for love, or maybe the two were simply so entwined that they always belonged together, kinda like we did.

Claudia

Ifell asleep draped over Stag, and I slept better than I’d slept in my life, especially since the deafness. It’s one thing to know you can’t hear, but it’s quite another level of horror to know that the things you can’t hear could be the things that kill you. Dramatic but true. Intruders, alarms, all those things.

Being wrapped in Stag’s arms meant I wasn’t even worried about him switching the lamp off and leaving us in darkness, because I knew he’d keep me safe. I knew he’d see and hear for both of us, and protect me from anything that came after us.

I felt a rumble beneath my face, which was pressed against his chest, like maybe he was speaking, and if he was, then he was doing that last night too. Whatever he’d said would have been for his ears only, so I didn’t press him, or ask if he was speaking, because I knew he’d alert me if he needed to tell me something. Like just now when his fingers stroked my cheek and lightly tapped my ear. I lifted my head, blinking sluggishly in the low morning light that was brightening the room through the gap in the curtains.

“Morning,” Stag said, his eyes deliciously sleepy as he smiled at me. He looked as relaxed as I’d ever seen him, as relaxed as I felt after the best night’s sleep of my life.

“Hey. Did you sleep okay? I didn’t mean to be a human blanket.”

He grinned. “No complaints here. I like it. Think I’ve found my favourite way to sleep.”

I smiled back at him, feeling like all the weight that’d been piling on my shoulders over the last few months had just drifted away, like right now all that mattered was the man I was draped over, like a little closeness in the night wasn’t enough and full closeness was the goal.

“I should make some coffee,” I said finally, because staring at each other was becoming addictive, and we both needed to get moving, right?

Stag lifted a hand, smoothing my hair back from my face, and I sighed inwardly, because that meant I probably looked like a mad professor, and he was too sweet to say it. I reached up to try and tidy it, and he shook his head.

“Nah, leave it. It’s cute.”

Oh god. I sat up, narrowly missing his more delicate parts as I moved, even though they’d felt anything but delicate last night.

“I uh… I should shower or something.”

Stag moved, sliding out of the bed, and bending to grab his clothes, giving me a perfect view of his firm ass as he moved. I wanted to slap it, which was the most insane urge to have, when I had no idea if he’d like it or be horrified.

“Nice ass,” I said instead, and he shot up again like a rocket, one hand landing on it as he spun to try and hide it, inadvertently flashing me with a full frontal instead.

“Mmmm… nice cock…”

His cheeks flushed red and he lowered his jeans in front of him, bashful and adorable all in one go.

“I uh… coffee. I’ll make that coffee.”

“Stag, you don’t have to hide from me. I like all your parts. They’re very sexy.”

“Oh god.” He turned and hurried out of the room, one hand behind him to try and hide his butt from me. There was something so cute and comical about it, like the fact that we’d got each other off last night was a reason for embarrassment, or my lips around that lovely cock hadn’t destroyed the boundaries of shyness between us. A big sexy biker, for sure, but a sweet man-boy who wasn’t yet comfortable naked around me? Also true. It’d take more time to teach him that being naked with me could be the best moments of his life.

I know we barely knew each other, but I wanted to make that happen. I’d never felt so free, and secure, and confident. He made me feel all those things, and they weren’t things I was ready to risk losing. I think he’d probably told me, and shown me, things he’d never shared before too, and that meant he had to feel secure with me, free to be honest, confident that I wouldn’t laugh or shame him. A grown man who hadn’t had sex yet? That was something special. I’d be the first woman to experience that side of him. I’d be the only woman. I really wanted to be the only woman for him.

Chapter Twenty-One

Ithink I freaked out a bit, and that makes me an even bigger pussy than the virgin thing. Suddenly it all felt too intimate and real. Suddenly it all felt like something huge, and it was, but I had no idea how she felt about it, so what it felt like most of all was me reading too much into what might just be a one off for her.

We hadn’t spent much time together, one evening, one meal, and now this night. Maybe I was just scratching an itch for her.

Jesus, keep overthinking shit, dickhead. I dressed at the top of the stairs and headed down to the kitchen. Fucking Henley’s got the sweetest place. I knew he was posh, but I didn’t realise just how fucking rich he was, because this house? This is big money shit. This is all the top of the range appliances, fucking granite counters, underfloor heating, the fucking works. Plus I knew about the ‘man cave’ downstairs, with all the high quality tech and stuff. How the other half lives, eh? There’s me, living in a single fucking room, or tent, and this is how he’s rolling.

And he was kind enough to let me stay here. That still blew my mind, because we didn’t connect the way he and Rocket did. Nobody really connects with me. I know that’s my problem, and not his, but he trusted me anyway.
