“I’m not. And do you want to know why? I mean besides the fact that we’ve established that I’m
not a predator.”
“I don’t have a clue. I can’t understand why you’re not more upset about this.”
“Because…” His lips curl up into a dark smile. “It means that I win by forfeit. I have a chance at
getting you on my medical table without enduring undo discomfort. Kinda view that as a win-win in
my books.”
Of course he would. Why didn’t I think about that? Sloughing off the guilt that still niggles at my
brain, I try to banter back with him. “I see. Then what do I get out of this? Seems like you’re the only
one gaining anything right now. Shouldn’t I get a reward for standing up to you?”
He stifles a laugh and rises up to his full height, crossing his arms as he pins me with a playful
frown. “You think you deserve something do you? Perhaps I can arrange something. Since you did
such a good job both massaging me and voicing your needs and concerns, I don’t see why I can’t
repay you with a nice impact scene.”
Without waiting for an answer, he turns towards the Saint Andrew’s cross and motions me over.
Before we can move more than a few feet, Master Spencer pops into view, his foot tapping as he tries
to control himself.
“We don’t play on class days.” The way he barks out this sentence is almost comical, like a watch
dog barking at a leaf.
“Yes,” Master Aiden cajoles, “but couldn’t you make an exception? Just for tonight? For Lila?”
At the use of my name, I turn and give him a look. It’s not at all surprising that he’s using me to get
something he wants, but then, there is no way in hell Master Spencer will give him anything, so it
makes sense.
“Do you want this, Lila?”
My stomach drops as I look up at Master Aiden, noting his heated stare. “Yes. I believe I do.”
Master Spencer grumbles but moves out of the way. “Fine. But make it quick.”
“Oh. Don’t worry. What I have planned for her won’t take too long.” He wraps his fingers around
my arm and drags me toward the cross that looms before us. “Before we start, I want to negotiate a
few things with you. I’m assuming you’re okay with that?”
“Of course. I’d expect nothing less.”
“Are there any implements you’re not okay with? Belt? Hands?”
