Something. Anything showing that Aiden is remorseful and wanting to reconcile. But there’s nothing.

With a sigh, I head back to the bar and stare at the submissives standing there, their Masters

behind them. My eyes burn as I stare into the faces of such dear friends.

Kit and Master Austin grip their shot glasses, hatred burning in their eyes. Melody and Master

Kawan stand there, poised, but with a look of irritation. Lisa and Master Elliot exchange mischievous

glances, and I’m sure they’re more than thrilled to be breaking into this secret stash. Klara and Master

Spencer look the angriest out of everyone, and I’m surprised they’re holding on as well as they are.

Hadlee and Master Garreth are strong, stoic, their gazes giving nothing away. And finally, Cynthia

and Master Carlson keep their heads bowed, no doubt not wanting to add to my distress by showing

just how angry they are.

All of them, here for me. And so many more behind me, showering me with love and acceptance.

It’s going to be tough, but I’ll get through this. I have my Black Light family surrounding me, holding

me up. With them I can get through anything.

Turning on the camera, I train it at the right side, focusing on Kit and Master Austin. “I really hope

you enjoy Dallas,” I hiss. “Because we sure as hell will enjoy the whiskey you left behind.”

One by one, I travel down the row, catching each couple shooting it back and emptying the

expensive scotch down their throats. I should feel remorseful for wasting something this pricey, but

instead, I revel in it, letting the pain go with each swallow that goes down.

Finally, Klara hands me the bottle and takes the phone. I look at the camera and hold it up in a

mock salute before drinking straight from it. “I hope it’s worth every fucking drop.”

She turns off the camera and hands it back to me, a sad smile on her face. “Anything I can do

love?”

“No. I think I’m just going to go back home.”

Lisa and Master Elliot slide up beside me, as Melody wraps her arms around me in a tight hug.

“We’re here for you,” he says, patting my shoulder. “Whatever you need, you just ask.”

Unable to speak with all the emotions bubbling up to the surface, I simply nod and walk away.

More than likely, I’ll be back. I can’t stay hidden away for long. And besides, by not taking advantage

of working here and playing with other Doms, I’m only hurting myself. Aiden seems to have already

gotten over me; I guess it’s high time I do the same.
