worthless, whether that’s your intent or not.” Lying my head back on the padded table, I close my

eyes, listening to him shuffle about, moving things around. Once more, the hum of the violet wand

sounds in my ear, and I want nothing more than to be swept up in the delightful sting as it dances along

my body.

This time, however, there’s hardly any zap, it’s as if an electric hum glides over my body. It’s not

until he lifts it from my skin that I feel that familiar zing as the electricity arcs between us. Over and

over he varies the sensations between sharp pops and feather light hums, keeping me in an odd limbo

where I can’t quite drift, but it doesn’t actually matter.

Before too long, he puts the wand away and unbuckles me. “I want you to turn over and stick your

ass in the air. Hold on tight, though, because I’m going to lower the table.”

I do as he says and dig my fingers into the edge of the padding, feeling the lurch as it starts to

descend. My stomach clenches, but soon, I’m where he wants me. Once more, the hum starts back up,

only this time the crackling is much more intense.

Before I can even think, a line of pain explodes over my ass cheek. I turn, mouth agape, to see

Maybe at some point, I’ll turn up the heat, but not until I know you can handle it. How does it feel?”

“A hell of a lot stingier than the glass you used.”

His lips curl up into a feral grin. “Excellent.”

Turning my head back to face the exam table, I stare at the bland, cream-colored surface as he

drags the falls over my skin again. It hurts. It cuts into me like a thousand needles poking at my skin at

once. Or even worse, a knife flaying me alive. The problem is, I have no clue if that’s even accurate

since I’ve never experienced either.

I grit my teeth and hold on as Master Aiden delivers lash after lash. I don’t safe word. I’ll never

safe word for something like this because, despite the pain, white-hot arousal builds inside me,

dulling the edge into something manageable. The crackle every time the falls brush my skin only add

to the sensations swirling through my body, making me clench with need.

He’s relentless. It’s not until I’m moaning, nearly writhing with need that he finally puts the violet

wand away and tends to the raging inferno he’s created. It takes him no time at all to unzip his pants

and tear open the condom packet, tossing the empty wrapper near my face to make sure I see that he’s
