Could be it’s the slight tousle to his dirty-blond hair, giving him the look of a bad boy even with that

designer suit.

I try to wrack my brain, to see if there’s ever been any sort of interaction between us, but I’m sure

I would have remembered him. He seems to be the type to command attention. It must just be that

we’re into different kinks. That’s the best explanation I have, because if there’s an available

Dominant here that likes impact play, I already know them. So that means he’s either not into the stuff

I like, or he’s new.

Either way, my mouth waters as I take in his impeccable three-piece suit and the way his lips

slide along the glass as he takes another drink. Those lips promise dark, decadent nights, and I find

myself imagining him in place of Master Dillon. Perhaps it’s the high of the ropes. Perhaps I’m just

horny. Either way, there’s something about this stranger that makes me sit up and pay attention.

His eyes flash in the myriad lights, and unless I’m completely wrong, they spark with the same

interest, the same lust as me.

It feels like the man is toying with me, but oddly enough, I don’t care. Every fiber of my being

wishes it was his hands tying the rope to my body. At least that way, I might get some relief from the

pulsing need making me squirm.

Dillon is already taken, and I knew that before agreeing to play with him. When it was just he and

I playing, arousal wasn’t really an issue. I was here to enjoy the ropes and try something new. But all

that changed the moment Mr. Hottie captured my attention. Now, more than ever, I want to get off, and

I just know he could launch me into subspace. It doesn’t matter that I don’t know him; he’s looking at

me like I’m fair game, and I want to make sure he knows that I am.

Deep inside, that small niggle of guilt worms its way back up. I want to give in to the ropes, to

give Dillon his due respect, but with the way this man is staring at me, like he wants to devour me, I

can’t help but fantasize. He could help ease this ache deep inside. He could make me see stars. I just

know it.

CHAPTER 2

A iden

I DOWN THE REST OF MY DRINK, GRINNING AS I SET THE TUMBLER BACK DOWN ON THE BAR. NOW,

more than ever, I want to know about this slip of a girl who claims to play God without the right

knowledge or tools.
