My thighs shake as I shoot my cum deep inside her. I revel in the shivers that ripple her body as my cool jizz invades the heat of her pussy. I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of that. I know she’ll soon be turned and be just as cold as I am, but until then, I can’t wait to make her squirm again and again.
Luka grips my thighs, this time looking for his own release. He laps at Katrina’s back in time with his thrust, jostling my body each time he slams into me. Soon, my cock starts to twitch again inside her, and I groan. One day, I’ll admit that I enjoy this dark, decadent, filthy triad we have going, but not right now. I can’t allow my mind to slip just yet.
I’m holding onto the very thread of my humanity. To admit that I enjoy this will give the monster just one more foothold. It’s one more step towards not caring how I get my pleasure if it’s all-consuming. Luka’s moans fill my ears as he fills my ass with his own cum.
Once more, I twitch as pleasure curls through my body. Is it really so wrong to just give in? I hold Katrina close as Luka pulls out, the knowing smirk never leaving his lips.
“She’s yours to care for. Unless you want her useless the next few days, no more blood for tonight.” He picks up his pants and leaves without caring about his nakedness or the residual cum splattering to the floor. And why would he?
Who would dare even say anything to him about it? I hold Katrina close, listening to her heart. It soothes me, calms the beast threatening to break free and kill the man that made us both slaves to his mercy. She moans against me, her body burrowing into the safety of my arms.
Even in her sleep, she knows I’m the one who will piece her back together. Not once has she sought out Luka for anything but carnal needs, and that’s fine. I don’t mind being her devil in shining armor. I pull the blanket in between us, allowing her to retain some of the warmth emanating from her body.
It would be so easy to just curl up with her and listen to her breathe until the dawn, but I’ll need to tend to her wounds before letting her sleep in my arms. Turning her face down, I ignore the whimper of protest from her pouty lips. It’s for her own good, and I’ll never let her stand in the way of that.
The wounds are still weeping but are at least sluggish. I resist the urge to lap at them, heeding Luka’s warning. I don’t want anything to jeopardize me seeing her, even if it’s for a night at a time. She’s the air in my lungs, the light to my darkness. What’s going to happen when he makes her one of us? When he snuffs out that light?
A battle rages at that very thought. Part of what makes her so compelling is her humanity. It’s knowing that her life resides in our hands. To take that away, to turn her immortal like us, would take away the danger. There would be no exhilaration in bringing her to the brink because, as a vampire, it won’t be as dire, as terrifying.
The wounds are much larger than the ones I made on her neck. Running my fang along the tip of one finger, I swipe down, ignoring the squeal of protest. It must be causing her excruciating pain for her to cry out like that, but I can’t stop. No matter how hard she cries, I need to heal her.
I need to be the one that sees to her safety. I failed her before. I won’t ever fail her again. Once each line is healed until there’s no trace of there ever being even a scratch, I pull her into my arms, blanket tucked around her in a soft cocoon. If my calculations are right, I have a few hours before I have to put her into her room for the day.
Though I want to keep her down here with us, in this playroom crafted just for her, I have to return her. It’s all about the mind games for Luka. For me, I just want her in my arms for as long as I can have her, but I know I can’t cross him. With her still a human, I have to play by his games. In the meantime, I’ll cherish this time with her, these few precious hours.
It will be a few hours to regain the sanity I’ve slowly lost. A few hours to feel human. Fuck. A few hours to just feel. Katrina sighs against me, and what little heart I have left cries out to her, desperate to convey just how much she means to me but knows it will never get the chance. Luka would just take this weakness and use it against me.
Just like he used Gloria.
CHAPTER SIX
Katrina
Bright light streams in from the window, nearly blinding me as I open my eyes. Surely last night wasn’t just a dream. Lying in bed, I let my mind drift back, desperate to hold onto the details. It all felt so real. The throbbing between my thighs sure feels real enough.
Easing out of bed, I check over every muscle, noting any soreness. There is none. I feel even better now than when I went to sleep. But that shouldn't be possible. Not in a bed that's not even my own. Groaning, I rub my hand over my face and slide my legs out, letting my feet dangle over the edge.
The fibers from the carpet tickle my soles as I swing them back and forth. There’s something I’m missing. Something I can’t put my finger on. I wish I could understand what my brain is trying to tell me, but it feels like the answers are wrapped up in cotton and shoved to the furthest recesses of my brain.
The harder I fight to get to that understanding, the further away it feels. Glancing over at the bedside table, I note a glass and two pills. Next to them is a note with a jagged scrawling flair. Just staring at the handwriting sends a chill down my spine.
How stupid is that? It’s just a note. No doubt by the doctor on board. The words “take two pills and call me in the morning” bring a smile to my lips. He obviously has a sense of humor. That’s a plus, at least. Squinting, I look back at the open curtains. I know for sure I closed them yesterday. Didn’t I?
I think back, running over yesterday’s events in my mind, and sure enough, I have a strong memory of closing them. It could be whoever delivered the medicine decided I needed some sunlight. I’m pale enough that I can understand their concern, but seeing all that expanse of water does the complete opposite of calming me down.
Shaking my head, I make my way over and shut them again, taking the room from impossibly bright to manageable. If this means I need to take extra vitamin D, then so be it. I’d rather do that than suffer the anxiety the ocean brings. Trudging into the bathroom, I turn on the lights and wait for the spots to stop dancing before looking at myself in the mirror.
Besides being even paler than I was yesterday, nothing really looks that much different. There aren’t any marks on my skin that I can see. Turning around, I arch my neck around and look at my back. If I was indeed whipped within an inch of my life, there should be some evidence. Right? But there’s nothing. Not even a scratch. Not even a shadow of a mark. In fact, my skin looks much better than it ever has.
Maybe it’s all these infusions. Fuck, where were these during puberty? It’s all in my head. That’s what everything is telling me. These are dreams and nothing more. Until I start seeing either Luka or Jackson in my room, I’ll just blame everything on a horny imagination and not delirium.
Besides, my skin isn’t any colder than it normally is, and I’m not feeling sick - just bored out of my mind. I didn’t want to have to depend on the TV for entertainment, but that’s the way it’s starting to look. Stepping back into the room, I drag a sheet off of the bed, noting the soft texture - far softer than I remembered it being - and wrap it around myself.
I glance over at the door, ignoring the shudder rolling through me. I’m not even next to it, and already I want to break out into a cold sweat. What the hell is wrong with me? Nodding my head in determination, I stride over to the door, my steps purposeful; however, the closer I get, I start to falter.
Though I make it about a step further than yesterday, my body quakes as I force my hand out. I just want to touch the doorknob. That’s it. But I can’t even do that. My arm falls limp, useless to my side as my body quivers in place. I can’t even stop the shaking, no matter how hard I try.
Pulling back, I walk backward on shaky steps, my breathing returning to normal with every retreating move I make. Soon, the curtains brush my back, and I know I have nowhere else to go. There’s only the outside, and hell if I’m going to go out onto that balcony where I can get blown overboard.
